[WE110] Weekend-Engagement concept: What I would do if I didn't sleep

Time is a valuable resource, so by gaining this by not having to sleep I would be an extremely wealthy person. I would do the things I like without being tied to a schedule, as much as possible I would try not to consume so much junk content on social networks and media.

I would calmly organize my house by throwing away what I don't need, tidying my closet, my kitchen, my bedroom, my living room and my dining room.

I would commune more with nature, visit parks and museums and concentrate more on my health. I would look for friendships and loves lost in time to meet them again and share what has become of our lives.

I would work in a venture that really interests me, seeking to maximize my profits to help family and friends. In that venture I must prove that I am good at what I do. I would focus on one task at a time before moving on to another at the same time. I would carefully review my daily task schedule to focus on what I need to do, when and where.

I would visit Italy, Paris, France, Germany, Spain and even dare to go to New Zealand, Australia, Egypt, Dubai and the North Pole. I would be interested in their customs, the most representative historical places and I would get to know the idiosyncrasy of their inhabitants.

I would smooth things over with people who had differences with me at some point, and who were really right.

I would leave pride aside and try to empathize a little more with other people, I would want to understand some problems that others have and try to give them a comfort or a solution as far as possible and logically, these issues would not take them as my own for fear of becoming emotionally ill.

I would look for a way not to lose focus and I would stop wasting money on superfluous things that I don't need.

I would recharge my energy with healthier and more nutritious meals, but once in a while I would give myself a treat by getting out of my daily routine.

As a good cinephile I would soak up those movies that I have always wanted to see but just for lack of time I have not enjoyed, I would listen to new music that invades my senses discarding that which is not to my taste. Since I feel I have the capacity to do so, I would film a movie and produce some musical shows with great artists that would thrill the audience with emotion.

I would write a book with my memories, recollections and anecdotes, I would leave it for the posterity of my descendants with the intention that they learn something from me and do not fall into the mistakes I made.

I would participate in groups that undertake social actions on behalf of people in need and I would try to raise awareness in more than one citizen, to teach them to raise their voice, and not allow them to be abused.

All the above are desires and needs that I have not been able to fulfill fully for lack of time, if I were allowed to realize them I would feel fulfilled, a knowledgeable man of many things in life, and someone very useful to others who would see in me a reliable, empathetic and assertive person.

What if you didn't have to sleep?

Imagine if you never had to sleep, what would you do with the extra time you would gain? List some of the things and explain why you would do them and how the extra time would impact your life.

Thank you so much for appreciating my posting.

You should try to do a few of these even with sleep as some of them do seem achievable. 😀.

Dear friend, you are absolutely right, that's what I thought after posting, I just have to try harder. Greetings!

There are many dreams to be fulfilled and I believe that you can achieve them by organising your time, but I know it is not easy.

To write a book you need a lot of time, to travel you need money and if you have enough time to work you are likely to become rich.

More time is what we all want and it goes so fast making us live longing for what we want and won't have for lack of it. @nbarrios67 🤗

Hello, In today's world it is difficult to find time from where we don't have it, since we have to fulfill our obligations. However, what we are seeing as a dream could become a reality with the support of other people and as our friend @blanchy says, organizing ourselves a little more, but there is a paradox here: where do I get time to organize myself. Greetings.
