In late 2023 we made it to Picnic Point Parklands the 4th parkrun in the Toowoomba area and probably the hardest and most spectacular.
We did Wauchope to celebrate New Years Day 2024 along the Hastings river in New South Wales.
Grafton was another one in country New South Wales for number 123.
124 was our first parkrun in Japan and our fifth parkrun country. It was a small but very welcoming group celebrating there first day of spring.
Tokyo Bay was great too after a few days of skiing at Rusutsu and the ice festival in Sapporo. @consciouscat complete her 250th event.
Back home a new parkrun started on the northside of Brisbane at Capestone Lake for number 126.
We were at Jeune Park for my 127th different event with friends in Beaudesert, Queensland.
We tried sleeping in the back of our car to add Maryborough to our parkrun collection and also had breakfast with another uber tourist Errol.
I injured my ankle the day before Charleys Creek parkrun in Chinchilla but still picked up a stat doing the time keeper volunteer job.
130 was at Samford Parklands another new one on the northside of Brisbane.
All parkruns are done on the weekend other than special event days.
Lots of photos in this post have to be credited to the parkrun volunteer photographers who give up there run and time each week so I get to see what I actually look like while running.
To celebrate my 10 years of parkrun, I thought I would make a few posts of all the different parkrun events I have visited.
parkrun is a not for profit community event held every weekend. It started in England and has now spread to over 20 countries world wide. If there is not one near you, I would have a look at helping start one so I can come and visit you.
