Do you have an outdoor hobby? Weekend-Engagement topics: Week 247

Assalam o alaikum and Hello to all my dear friends and #weekendexperiences community members!

Do you have an outdoor hobby? Ever since I was a child, whenever I saw farmers cultivating crops, plowing with tractors, drilling and harvesting crops, I used to go for a walk in the green fields of my village on the day off from school, I saw the farmers putting fertilizers in the fields, applying water, then the desire to become a big farmer was awakened in my heart. In fact, I had decided from my childhood that I would grow up to be a successful farmer. By the way, I have many hobbies, but till date my biggest hobby is cultivation of crops. I wanted to be a farmer since my childhood but at that time in my school and college life I had no time to cultivate crops. After I completed my education, then it was time for me to fulfill the biggest dream of my life, so I decided to become a regular farmer and gradually I started cultivating crops on a small scale.I am fine by the grace of Allah, I hope all my friends will be fine. Today, my post is about to #weekend-engagement topics: week 247 topics given by respected @galenkp. All the given topics are good and interesting, I will write about that topic

For the first time in my life, in the year 2020, I took 03 acres on contract and cultivated millet crop in summer. Which is a crop of about 04 months was initially inexperienced. Due to lack of experience, I suffered a financial loss in millet crop. But on the day we harvested the millet crop, despite the financial loss, I felt a strange joy as if I had achieved a great success in my life. That day was a big day for me. That day my dream of becoming a farmer was fulfilled. Success and failure are part of our destiny, but the real success is the effort made to reach our own goal, aim, and destination.

After the financial loss, my financial condition became weak, but my desire to grow crops, my desire to become a successful farmer increased many times than before. I borrowed money from my brothers and friends and planted wheat crop on 06 acres of land on a one-year contract. During this time I worked hard with passion and dedication and I got a rich reward for it. Maine made so much profit from the wheat crop that I paid back my loan and continued to grow crops.

Today, by the grace of Allah, I am a successful farmer. I grow 12 acres every year, every season with different crops including wheat, cotton, canola, peanuts, and vegetables include turnips, radishes, carrots, okra, zucchini, pumpkins, garlic and onions. In my fields, there is also a small garden of Palm trees which I take great care of. I Started cultivation of crops about 05 years ago. Which continues till today.

** Along with my hobby, passion for growing crops, I have also fallen in love with crops.** The distance of my fields from my house is about 08 km. I must visit my fields at least once a day to check my crops. Seeing the my crops makes my heart happy, my eyes feel cool and refreshed. Crop inspection is also mandatory. I take special care of the needs of the crop, its hunger, thirst, and its health. If he is hungry and thirsty, I try to quench his hunger and thirst by adding fertilizer and giving water through the tubewell. If the health of the crop is bad, I get it checked by an agricultural doctor, bring medicine and sprayon it. Even if the mood of my harvest is bad, I pray to Allah for the rain of mercy.

Apart from fulfilling the hobby of cultivating crops, its benefits are also huge. You can meet the expenses of your house with the grains obtained after this hobby. You can also help the poor people by giving them grains. Whenever you grow a crop, you will need labor and machinery to plough, harvest, water, go to the shop to buy fertilizers, seeds, medicines. The hobby of crop cultivation will not only benefit you but also the people associated with the needs of your crop will benefit financially. A farmer, for any country and region where he resides ,he is a backbone for his country and region.
