How are you doing today? Do you feel better and more positive now, or are you still lost in thought over your current predicament? I understand that things haven't been going well with you as you envisioned them, despite all your hard work and commitment to achieving success, but c'mon, gal, it's high time you understood that life has no formula and everything will take shape again with time, just a little time.
You might be thinking that life has been unfair to you considering the many disappointments you have been facing since the year began. I understand the hardship and the challenges you have been facing in your family since your husband went out of work. I understand that you have never experienced carrying the family burdens all by yourself; I understand that the kids are yet to comprehend what you are passing through and wouldn't hesitate to request for their needs and wants at any time; but yet, I know you as a strong woman who will not give up half way.
I have known you as a resilient woman who is focused and determined until she achieves her set goals. So pick up your pieces and embrace those amazing traits of yours. Be bold and face the challenges; do not allow yourself to be overwhelmed by the situation. You have to be strong for yourself and your family. The beautiful kids you are blessed with look up to you, and you owe them a good future. Have you forgotten so soon those calming and soft words your 7-year-old son uses to tell you when you are down?

Those words are soothing, and I challenge you to have a quick reflection on them and be relieved. The world is full of ups and downs. Sometimes we ride on bumpy roads; we might fall, but we have to make every effort to rise again. Instead of being hard on yourself, instead of complaining and lamenting, take your predicament to God in prayer. Remember, there will always be light at the end of the tunnel.
When you feel that your head is heavy with lots of worries, why not step outside your home and take a little walk? Perhaps enjoy the nature; probably you will find relief.
I know that you missed those nice moments you used to have with your family. The good meal, the fun activities outside home, and lots more, but do not dwell on thinking anymore. Remain consistent in pursuing your dreams; the light will shine again. It's closer than you expected.

Wow, did I just write myself this letter? I guess I should print it out and place it on my bed beside my pillow, maybe as a daily affirmation, so hopefully I will feel more positive.
