This past weekend and Monday and Tuesday was carnival and here it is very common to see parades and comparsas, and a lot of children dressed up and playing with water balloons and papelillo. But it is not very common to see adults dressed up unless they are working as part of the carnival celebration, and then there is me, I am a big girl and I really wanted to dress up, and not just to wear the costume, I spent all week putting together my clown outfit and making the costume I wanted, for which I made a bright blue tutu, which I teach to do in another post Carnival tutu.
Este fin de semana pasado y lunes y martes fue carnaval y aquí es muy común ver desfiles y comparsas, y una cantidad de niños disfrazados y jugando con globos de agua y papelillo. Pero no es muy común ver adultos disfrazados a menos que estén trabajando como parte de el festejo de carnaval, y después estoy yo, que soy una niña grande y tenía muchísimas ganas de disfrazarme, y no solo por ponerme el disfraz, pase toda la semana armando mi outfit de payasita y confeccionando el vestuario que quería, para el cual me realice un tutú azul brillante, el cual enseñe a hacer en otro post Tutu de carnaval
With the tutu finished my cousin who always accompanies me to my craziness and whims, was excited about the costume so I made her a red tutu because she wanted to use it later in other costumes. For her I made it as the queen of hearts, and completed it with heart accessories all over ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️.
She had to work in a fair for the high season, but without any problem and willing to disguise myself I went to help her and accompany her completely dressed as a clown and happy as if she was a child. Once there and transformed into the characters, we took advantage of the opportunity to take lots of pictures of us and to advertise the fair where she was, besides greeting and playing with the children who were passing by.
Ya con el tutú terminado mi prima que siempre me acompaña a mis locuras y antojos, se emocionó por el disfraz por lo que le hice un tutú rojo pues ella quería usarlo después en otros vestuarios. Para ella lo hice de la reina de corazones, y se lo complete con accesorios de corazones por todos lados ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Ella tenía que trabajar en una feria por la temporada alta, pero sin ningún problema y dispuesta a disfrazarme fui a ayudarla y acompañarla completamente vestida de payasita y feliz como si fuera una niña. Ya estando allá y transformadas en los personajes aprovechamos para tomarnos muchísimas fotos de nosotras y para hacerle publicidad a la feria donde ella se encontraba, además de saludar y jugar con los niños que pasaban
After a while the situation was a little chaotic because it started to rain as if the sky was going to fall, so we had to hide because we did not want to get wet and sick, but we saw how many children were playing in the rain and enjoying their carnivals, after the rain passed, I stayed with my cousin until the fair ended and helped her to pick up and we went to eat some deserved hot dogs to finish the day.
So went my long carnival weekend, between sewing, dressing up and a lot of rain but happy 😁😁.

Al rato la situación fue un poco caótica pues empezó a llover como si se fuera a caer el cielo, por lo que nos tuvimos que esconder porque no nos queríamos mojar y enfermar, pero vimos como muchísimos niños estaban jugando en la lluvia y disfrutando sus carnavales, después que paso la lluvia, me quedé con mi prima hasta que terminó la feria y la ayude a recoger y nos fuimos a comer unos merecidos perros calientes para terminar el día.
Así se fue mi fin de semana largo de carnaval, entre coser, disfrazarme y mucha lluvia pero feliz 😁😁
