Topic:

If you could commit any crime at all and get away with it what would the crime be and why do you choose it? Extra bonus points for describing how you would do it and get away with it.

There is this lyrics from one of our popular artists that says, "If love is a crime and I am willing to be wanted." - Tuface. Just in this case, the crime I would love to commit would be for the love of humanity and not for a romantic lover hahaha. That makes it excusable, right? 🙈🙈

If there is any crime I would love to commit and get away with, it would be to siphon funds or steal funds from these politicians. Let's face it, they have been cursed with a chronic desire to irritate us, the populace. For those who have been used to Nigeria's politics, you wouldn't even want to have a single sympathy for any of them because they are all the same.

I read @galenkp's post earlier in the week and he spoke about the "eye for an eye" situation especially when someone intentionally uses his gun to hurt another. That's kind of how this is for me too... These politicians deserve what I want to do to them in this instance hahaha.

They feed on public funds and they have no remorse for it whatsoever, yet, we are the ones contributing massively to the growth of the economy. They have been nothing but a menace to us with their show of power, wealth and oppression.

There is only one reason why I would love to commit this crime and get away with it and that's because I've always been the kind of person that is huge on helping others. Call me Robin Hood, that would add a nice ring to it hahahaha. I've always conceived the idea of starting an initiative called "Save The Child" where I would sponsor many students to get the basic education they deserve. I also understand that not everyone wants to go into the academic line, so, for those who want to go further into the higher institution and couldn't afford it, I would help them and for those who feel they can't thrive on education, I can assist them in the training of whatever craft they want to learn and then give them the fund to start something on a low scale so they can grow.

This was on my mind many years ago when I applied for a grant from the government and sadly, I've not received it to date despite filling out all the paper works and even using my own money to get the form and pay for the processing fee. Obviously, they only took our money and to them, that's another income generated which would be shared amongst themselves. Now you see why I want to rob these politicians and then get away with it.

I believe every child deserves a basic education but they should be left to choose what they want to do with their lives after that. I didn't get that choice while growing up because I've always wanted to be a footballer but dad forced me into going to a higher institution. I want to be able to give others the chance and it would become easier for parents too as they know they won't have to cough out the money because most parents see sending their children to university as an investment even though the child doesn't want it. With the assurance that my organization would sponsor the craft for their child and also equip them after they have mastered it, it would ease up the parents to see how things can be for their child while also being there to provide counsel for their ward.

How do I intend to get away with this crime? I can do it two ways. First, I would look for a genius who can hack into the database of our telecommunication companies. I am not going to target their bank funds because that can be traced since they would see where I would be transferring the money to but I believed most of them have Bitcoin stashed somewhere even though they have banned it. This is why they won't be able to raise an alarm when it goes missing and it's untraceable too.

I only needed spyware to be sent to their phones which if they are unlucky enough to click it (they will because we don't have smart politicians in Nigeria. Most of them don't even have the basic education and they have people who do things for them), I would be able to raid their wallets and then transfer it to a separate wallet that I would create.

The second one might be a bit more stressful and rigorous, if not bloody. I am not a violent person but I think this would be the last option I would employ if the first one fails (but it won't). I would wait around for the election period that is coming up and then target the bullion vans they would employ to carry cash around to bribe people. I would get people to rob it and since we don't even track our own money, it makes it easier for me to bury the money in a place for a year or two till everything calms down. They can't raise a fuss about this too because it was intended for bribes. I would have bought the land we want to bury the money in... This is part of the underground work I would have done to know their routes and of course, fence the land too. Quite crazy, I know but that's what living in Nigeria does to anyone's head hahahaha.
