"Does LOVE count as a passion?" Is one of the thoughts that came to mind when I saw this topic, it sounded so absurd but it left as swiftly as it came.
Makeup
I've never loved anything (or anyone) as much as I love makeup, I feel so confident in makeup, I'm a bit shy and reserved but whenever I have makeup on, I feel like I'm on top of the world, it's my therapy for the times I feel down and my go-to for the times I feel good, the way alcohol intoxicates people is the way makeup intoxicates me (although I wouldn't really know cause I haven't really had alcohol 😅).
I started loving makeup from a young age (maybe not so young), my mom was not a 'makeup person' but I saw people in makeup when I went out and for a reason I still can't remember, I wanted to be like them, I felt if I could be like them all my problems would be fixed, I won't be called ugly or made fun of anymore so the moment I got a phone I spent my nights on YouTube watching makeup tutorials and my days practicing with my sister's products. When I started working, I spent most of salary on makeup products and practiced almost every time even when my family was against it.

First time I did makeup on someone, my friend's birthday was around the corner and I offered my her my 'services' 😂 for unknown reasons.
After some years of practicing with my family discouraging and beating me for putting on makeup and trying to look like "those girls" my mum came to accept that things won't change, I won't stop loving it or give it up, she accepted and started encouraging me.
Little by little, my makeup started evolving.
While my friend didn't let me offer more of my services, I found someone willing to offer her face.
Gradually, I grew (and by gradually, I mean really slowly) till I could get proper accolades for the work I did and yes!! I did get them.
I've been talking about normal makeup until now so let me switch it a bit, I started loving SFX makeup last year and I don't know why but I really want to get into that field so bad, I have no tutor so I'm watching as many SFX makeup videos as I can find to help myself grow, here are a few crazies I've done on myself.
This is the first one I tried
For this last one, my dad called me and warned me severely to stop these kind of makeup so I took a break (mostly cause I'm almost out of makeup products) he was so angry at it that he said I'm free to do makeup but not this type (who will tell him, I'm not going to mind his offer?). I could go on and on about my love for makeup and everything it entails but not to worry, I don't want to bore you.
