In the guidelines for writing this post you talked about parents and religious figures and, since my brother is not a priest, I can easily write this post about him without running the risk of going off topic heh heh!
Just the day before yesterday we celebrated Aurora's birthday and, while I was watching my brother, I thought I wanted to write about him, I respect and admire him so much; not even on purpose, a dear friend of Hive offers me the opportunity to do it on a silver platter.
You must know that unfortunately my niece has two rare diseases, it's not something I talk about often in fact I'm writing this just to put it in context.
Angelo, that's my brother's name, he's been a policeman by profession since he was 18 years old; it was always his dream and he made it come true with so much effort.
To enter he participated in a public competition quite a few years ago in which thousands of people from all over Italy had registered ... he finished sixth, in my opinion, an excellent result considering the number of participants.
I admire him because he is stubborn and like me he is passionate about the things he does; temperamentally we are very similar, I would say the same even if he may seem a little more calm than me.
Don't be fooled, we are sanguine in the same way, Calabro blood flows in us heh heh!
It takes two men to make a brother.
(Israel Zangwill)
My brother has three children, Cristian the eldest is 14 years old, Aurora who just turned 9 the other day and Ariel the youngest is 4 years old.
Given Auri's condition (this is how we all affectionately call my niece heh heh!) You will understand that the life of my brother and his family is quite demanding between therapy, speech therapy, visits to right and left and so on and so forth.
But he has never lost heart, he never seems to get tired, he is the rock of his family; He has never made his children lack for anything, nor has he ever neglected anyone despite Aurora willingly or unwillingly absorbing so much energy and attention and, obviously, he has always been a special husband.
When I look at my nephew Cristian I realize that he is extremely mature for his age, awake and intelligent one can see that he has received an excellent education and has a great family behind him; Ariel, the youngest, is lively and lively... both brothers are already taking care of Aurora, they don't give her up for a moment and they are very close.
I am hopeful for their future, they will be very nice people, this is also because every day they see how their dad behaves.
I admire Angelo for this, he built a splendid family in the midst of a thousand difficulties; even with the stormy sea he always kept the course straight, I think I'm a strong person, but if I had half the strength of my brother I could call myself a superman.
Before concluding, I want to talk about my sister-in-law Chiara; they met Angelo when they were very young and when Criatian was born they were really very young, they started building their family and I wandered around the poker tables...lol!
Angelo and Chiara have always been together and love and respect each other, my brother treats her every day of her wife like she were a princess, she doesn't miss love and supports and supports her. Today I too am a husband and I was inspired by him who was before me because he is truly a great husband, as well as being a great father and brother.
I am the older brother, but Angelo is the "Big" brother; I admire him for all the reasons I have listed and for a thousand others, he is my superhero!
I thank life for giving me such a brother and I really think I'm a lucky person!
I have to go now; If you like, express your thoughts and ideas below.
Hug you!
English is not my first language but I try, please forgive any errors.
What a beautiful post 💜, how nice to read how you express yourself about your brother! I am very happy that your brother has left this teaching in you through his example! Good post! ✔️💯...
Thank you very much, you are very kind!
Thanks also for stopping by and for the support, it's important to me!
Having a brother is truly a blessing my friend. It is good to know that you love it so much. I have heard stories from other people that they do not want to have another sibling most especially when they have been a solo son or daughter for many years. I love reading your story about it. And I am glad that you behaved amazingly. Have a wonderful time and take care.
Thank you!
Thanks for the comment, nice words and support!
Having a brother is such a beautiful thing and I am lucky to have my brother, I will always be there for him and obviously also for his whole family which is also my family and my wife's.
I hug you!
