Hello here, this will actually be my first time of posting here,I was just surfing through some posts here before I came across this community which I was supposed to pick and botress on a topic out of four fascinating topics, I would love to go with "WOULD RATHER"...
it's week 107 and thanks to @galenkp for this creativity
Going straight to the point, I would rather work in a job that is aspiring with a low pay than working for money.
There will be a time when job might be scarce or money gone, it is then experience speaks, this is the time I would love to share my experience concerning the motion
Right from time I had passion for furniture and carpentry,it is literally what I love most of all creative works,by the time I was done with my "secondary school" as called in Nigeria,"high school" in some other countries I was advised by people around me to apply for teaching job in juvenile private schools, (pending the time I gained admission into varsity) which my friends without hesitation went into
Despite the fact that I was the best graduating student in my high school then.
I hated teaching,I never had passion for it but instead I went to mini furniture company in my town to work and gain experience where I was being given stipends that can't even last me a week, despite the fact that I was even older than my colleagues, due to my delayed education caused by monetary factors, which my parents couldn't afford
To cut it short, some months I was really gaining a lot of experience whereas my colleagues were making money, Young lads who has nothing really important to spend money on,were even better than me,in short,I was rejected by them, they were also making money from extra tutorial they do.
I was really not financially bouyant,I was struggling but focused on dream profession, I love creativity not teaching,I was almost rejected by everyone, until I had something to write home about.
Two years later I gained admission and was certified by the company as a professional furniture and carpenter, that was how I started doing fine in varsity,I made it all through with the experience I gained from the work I had passion for and loved.
I catered for myself from the first level to the final year, due to incapability of my parents, not only even that I was successful academically as one of the best student in the department,I tried as much to balance everything because I put my passion first.
thanks for visiting my blog
