It hurts to be compared. I have experienced this during my elementary days when my mother used to compare me with my classmates. But I used it as a motivation to move forward and never think that I am better nor lower than anyone. Perhaps I have learned my lessons.

Yeah, lucky you. Not all can see it like how you do. That's why mostly of teens I know became rebel and one of the reason is that, they could understand and look it in different ways.
