What I think about the #weekend-engagement concept

This is my response to the week 100 prompt.
I was introduced to the weekend engagement posts by @olawalium and it has been an awesome experience all through. Every weekend @galenkp successfully drops exciting and insightful prompts. Many of which bring back lovely memories, and help one reminisce about past experiences and lessons learnt.
It is awesome the people are rewarded not only with upvotes but with the gift of opportunities to improve their writings and also attract blog engagement. Every week I look forward to joining the contests and I usually feel bad when I'm unable to join because I'm busy with work.
The Weekend community has been a major source of writing revival for me. In the sense that it revived my interest in the hive community, after having gone away for a long time. The prompts have encouraged me to write every week and it has made my weekend more fulfilling and fun. I have written exciting topics that on a normal day I wouldn't have written.
Another thing that is worthy of appreciating is the comment from the community. Various members of the weekend community are faithful and committed to visiting every post with the weekend engagement tag. I appreciate these people for their consistency. Every member of the crew in total have been awesome. I know how hard it must be for winners to be decided every week but I believe everyone is a winner in this community.
I can go on about how positively these engagements have impacted me and the hive community as a whole. I hope and encourage the weekend engagement posts to continue, it helps writers overcome any form of creativity block that may want to occur. So that over the weekend you will have something to write about. Many of the topics and prompts usually helps me get my creative juice flowing. This community is worth sticking with and I hope to keep writing the weekend engagement posts.
