It was a long week indeed, but in all I'm grateful that I was able to scale through by the Grace of God.
This year one of my goals is to read, get inspired and motivated by other people's success stories, also to increase in knowledge and meet up with the goals I've set for myself. Though at a point it was somehow difficult to read because of my tight schedule everyday, but I created time for it as well, because It's for my benefit and growth.
I have some Christian literatures, but was confused on which one to read for this month being the first month of the year. As I was going through them, I came across this amazing book that captured my attention titled; "The Power of a Praying Woman", Written by Stormie Omartian, I picked it and commenced the reading, and it has been a blessing to me, knowing that my success and blessings lies in understanding Gods purpose for our lives, and that can be obtained in the place of prayer, as well as getting divine clarity why I am existing.
One might ask why this literature, every one (man/woman) was created for a purpose, so I choose to begin this month by understanding the divine plan of God for my life this year, and the possible way to achieve them, this literature also gives me a foothold and a sense of purpose in the beginning of the year. I can't achieve that by playing around, it's only by understanding the power of prayer, and engaging in the life of prayer.
Though it's always very easy to pray for others, (family, friends, spouse e.t.c) that's awesome, but what about you, God also wants to hear your own needs, and dreams, he wants to help you become that woman you have so longed to become, and that is achieved in the place of prayer, also aligning your dreams with God's divine plans, and it's
achieved in the place of prayer. Prayer is the key that unlocks all closed doors, bringing about a sense of direction in the race of life.
Though hard work, discipline, determination, obedience, e.t.c is required for success to be achieved, but i tend to include prayers as one of my success keys this year, because I want to work in accordance to his divine will, and plans and not my will in this journey of success.
Beginning this year with this book has really been a blessing to me, drawing me closer to God, understanding His plans and purpose for my life, as well as receiving comfort, strength and help to run through the race of life this year. Though still in the reading process, but I'm really blessed with it so far.
