If this is where I wanted to work and they can't understand the value of treating people better and communicating, I don't think I want to be a part of it which was why I had to decline.
It is good you declined and valued yourself instead of being seen as something else. At least, they say first impression, lasts longer. They made you see what and who they are and peradventure, you got the Job, you might eventually regret but here you are, standing on your ground today.
Exactly. They showed their hands and I know it won't get easier when I start working for them. They didn't even have the decency of apologizing and it made me think they won't accept responsibility if anything goes wrong on the job.
That is what it means and you also did well knowing your worth too. Jobs like that would make one get tired and fed up because they will feel they are paying you...and so? You can't do anything about it.
Exactly. They value no one for them to act that way.
