It is best to keep it real and honest, as lonely that can be sometimes. Many people like to live in their bubble and resent those who threaten to burst it.

I surely can say that I've made quite a lot of progress during my "lonely" phases in life. At this point, I just choose to stay away from those who can't handle the truth, nor think logically.

Me too, I cut some of those kinds of people of my life, and to them, I'm the bad guy for that, but I have to think about myself, my feelings, and stability instead of what they want or need, because they are too full of themselves to handle the truth. It's sad, but it has brought a sort of peace of mind for me, one that I sorely needed, and I'm better for it.
