Saturday is just the usual boring day for me -no events to attend, no fun walk outside, and no weekend escapade too - it's really just the normal and boring one. But it's because it is boring and normal that I like it. Mommy D visited her sister in Bulbugan, and we are left at home. I heard Mommy D get a call from her 80-year-old sister and ask her to cut her hair. That's their kind of bonding, they are three sisters, by the way, they do it once every two or three weeks. I'm sure they had a lot of "chismisan" moments while having fun.

Me and Mommy F were left at home, and I am accompanying Mom at the store. We had to experience getting up in the chair to accommodate customers that buy one candy or one cigarette. That's the usual scenario at the store. I'm still thankful for that, but I wish our customer would just buy more than one item para naman sulit sana ang pag tayo tayo ba, you know. Lol ( ꈍᴗꈍ). But well, this is really just the life of a small-time store owner, so we have to svck it up, no choice, eh ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ.

Omg! Enough with the drama, we had this yummy white cassava yesterday as our snack. Oh, how I missed eating boiled cassava, and it's been a long time since I last had it. It's actually Mama who bought this, she got it for 20 pesos, I'm with her when she buy it and that's for 1 kilo. So cheap, no? She cooked it just with a pinch of salt, and it's the best, not too soft but not to hard either. When we bought this, she told me that she would cook it with coconut milk, but then, she said she got so lazy peeling the coconut that she decided just to boil it, minus the coconut milk, lol.

But well, its simplicity is what makes this cassava taste even better. We just dip it in sugar, and oh my, what a yummy snack. I can eat this forever if only we didn't run out of it, lol. 1 kilo of this is not enough, I need and I want more (ʘᴗʘ✿). By the way, Mama's FM radio is working again, she's listening to it while eating her cassava, hehe. What a great combination, no?

Anyways, in the afternoon, Mommy D is already at home that time, so I have time to hang out downstairs, in Mama's backyard. I saw these cuties here resting. It's like Pepito is accompanying his sister in their cage. The cage is open, but Ofelia can't fly outside because of her injuries, she can't walk. And these two are always together whenever they hang out in our neighbor's backyard. But they can't do it together now, and Ofelia was just always in their cage.

This poor baby, she can't enjoy the outside world now. She can't have a lovely walk, just like she always does with her brother, she can't enjoy their food hunting in the neighbors backyard, and she can't fly anymore. She was just confined here, in the cage. Of course we can bring her in some part of our backyard, but all she could do was lay on the ground. I hope she recovers soonest so she can run around again in the backyard with her brother, Pepito.

Meanwhile, here's cutie Pepito, enjoying my shoulder too much, lol.

Playing with them for a little while made my Saturday a little livelier. They are the highlight of my Saturday, as well as the boiled white cassava that I ate with Mama and Mommy F.
