Today I want to tell you about my activities this Sunday, going on an adventure with my friends.
Even though I feel very tired, for some reason I am still enthusiastic about sharing my experience of adventuring to a beautiful hill called Holbung Hill which is located around Lake Toba.
The largest lake in Indonesia, a beautiful lake surrounded by hills that are very beautiful to the eye. Lake Toba is quite far from my small town, around 208 km.
I went on an adventure to Holbung Hill with some of my friends. Everyone really likes going for a walk to fill their tiredness after a week of work dealing with cute children at school, because we are kindergarten teachers. We left at midnight so we could arrive in the morning at Holbung Hill.
We arrived at Holbung Hill at around 8 in the morning, because before going to Holbung Hill we first rested in a mosque, then we prayed at dawn, had breakfast, then showered.
And finally we arrived at our destination, namely Holbung Hill. And we started climbing the hill to get to the top.
Wow, our legs really feel tired from climbing step by step to the top, knowing that we are mothers who are getting old and rarely exercise, imagine how tired our legs feel...hahaha..
While climbing, one of my friends fell because he slipped, because the road was a bit slippery, maybe because it was exposed to moisture, so the ground was a little wet, and maybe also because his legs were tired, but it didn't hurt, and he was still able to walk again.
Along the way up Holbung Hill we joked a lot, yes to reduce the tiredness of climbing, and along the way we really felt amazed by the beautiful view of the hill, fear also attacked our hearts when we looked down, because on our right and left we could see ravines, which if we slip we could fall into the abyss.
On the way we met several young people who were climbing and camping on Holbung Hill. I can imagine that if I also camped like them it would be really fun.
They looked very enthusiastic when walking up the hill, knowing that they were still young, not like us who were old...haahaha
We continued climbing, and finally taraaaa... we arrived at the top of Holbung Hill and woww... what an extraordinary view. Lake Toba looks so beautiful from the top of the hill, and the world looks beautiful from the top of the hill. Disappear tired after seeing God's beautiful and perfect creation. Indeed, we didn't climb the highest hill, because we didn't have the strength to climb up, but just from the top where we stopped was extraordinary.
The wind was blowing breezy, quite cold, but because we moved a lot, laughed and joked so we didn't feel so cold and tired, especially while we were amazed at enjoying nature, all our tiredness felt like it had paid off. I want to jump from one hill to another, I want to run around the hills, I want to hug the hills there. It feels good to be on Holbung Hill.
Dan setelah puas menikmati alam dibukit holbung, dengan berat hati kamipun turun dari bukit menuju mobil dan pulang untuk beraktivitas kembali esok hari.
Mudah-mudahan suatu hari kami bisa kembali kebukit holbung lagi, dan berpetualang mencari tempat-tempat yang indah.

remember when a friend told me about a funny incident. At that time he was at Holbung Hill. When he reached the second hill, one of his friends had a stomachache. He was confused about where to go. Finally he ran as fast as he could down the hill back to the ticket counter. We all laughed out loud. That was our funny experience at Holbung Hill 😂🤣
Yes, that's the difficulty on Holbung Hill, there are no toilets..
