Hello dear friends of the hive blog, I hope you have spent an incredible weekend visiting incredible places and having a wonderful time, happy labor day to all, hahaha! Long weekend for all Venezuelans. Today I am excited to tell you about my experience doing a rappelling course, where my sister, friend María, classmates and I had to descend from an abandoned three-story building.

You see, this great adventure began, when my sister excited me to participate with her and her friend in a 2-day rappelling course that was going to take place in the city where she lives, so she immediately called me and started to convince me to do the course with her. At first I didn't want to because that meant traveling to where she lives and looking for financial means for her to go there, but after so much tongue pulling that my sister did to me she convinced me😅😁.

When the first day of the course arrived, where I was supposed to learn the technical things of rappelling, the formation of knots and how to descend, for my very bad but bad luck I could not attend since that day I had work, which It became impossible for me to travel and in view of this situation, I thought that I could not do the course and my enthusiasm completely faded, but since one does not know the turns that life takes and what will happen tomorrow😅, the The organization where I was a volunteer called me to introduce myself the next day and I had to travel to the city where the course was taking place hahaha! Little things in life 😅.

When I arrived, I introduced myself to the organization and when I finished my sister called me telling me to come running to the abandoned building where she was, since all her friends had convinced the instructors that she had the opportunity to go down the building, when I I found out about that, you can't even imagine the nerves, thousands of things went through my head, my heart was pounding for hours and above all, it was the fear of falling by not knowing how to descend.

Upon arriving at the address that my sister had given me, she told me that everyone was waiting for me, since I was going to be the next to descend, which I thought was a game until I reached the top of the building and the instructors began to place the shoes on me. harnesses and quickly explain the descent techniques to me😆, I tell you that at that moment my adrenaline was full, without thinking twice I laced myself and little by little I began to descend through that building.

There was a moment during the descent that the stop ended and I was hanging upside down as if it were Spiderman hahaha, but when I stepped on the ground again, my body and mind told me: I did it! And without knowing anything, I wanted more Hahaha. Honestly, this has been by far the best experience of my life. Something I would definitely do again.

At the end of the course, we took a group photo to immortalize this beautiful moment and then we went to the beach to celebrate that all of us who participated overcame our fears and were able to descend safely.
