On Saturday 24/12 I was at home without much to do, my mom had gone out, and I knew she would not return early. Seeing that there was no movement at home, and in the previous days we did not make the corresponding family Hallacas, because of all this that is happening in my country, where the cost of things increased exaggeratedly! So I took it for granted that I would spend that day "as a normal day at home".
About halfway through the day I received a call from my aunt @milindasblog to invite us to spend that night with them at my grandmother's house (paternal), I agreed to let her know when my mom arrived, because I had to ask her. I stopped what I was doing and started to look for what I could wear for that night, I had everything in mind. When I saw that it was already 4:00pm and my mom was still not arriving, I called her to ask her, and her answer was that yes, but that the transport in which I was returning home was stranded, so I was waiting for the problem to be solved, to be able to leave; in view of that, I began to organize my backpack with the things I had to take, to get ready there, at my grandmother's house.
My mom arrived at about 5:00pm, she rested for a while and prepared her backpack too. We left at 5:40pm, because we didn't know how the transportation could be, I thought they might stop working early, because it was December 24th, so we left at that time, as my (maternal) grandmother used to say "just in case" hehehehe (this was a phrase she used to use a lot), we lasted until 6:30pm waiting for the car and nothing, then 2 passed by and they said they weren't going to work anymore for that day. When we saw that everything was getting dark, we went back home, on the way we bought bread to eat when we arrived, because we didn't feel like cooking. For the second time I took it for granted that I would spend "a normal night at home".
I lay down on the bed and called my father to let him know that we were not going to be able to go. A half hour later my aunt called me to tell me to get ready, that my cousin was near where I live, getting a haircut, and that when he was done he would come by to pick us up. So, we got ready! XD XD XD , and we went with him, when we arrived everyone was already there: my dad, my younger brother, my grandmother, my uncles, they were finalizing details of the food and getting ready.
The photo session started XD, my aunt and I love to take photos, we collapsed my cousin's cell phone with so many that we took XD.
Then we went on to share dinner, my grandmother together with my aunt were the ones who prepared everything, we ate that night Pasticho with Papas Chorreadas , Oh my God, a delicious combination, Pasticho is my favorite food, so you can imagine how much I enjoyed it!.
We were sharing and laughing for a while, that's what my family has, we really like that baring our teeth (that's what I call the fact of smiling), between jokes and laughter, we had a pleasant time.
In the first days of December, here in the city where I live, they were reopening places, with Christmas decorations, I was crazy to go!, I really like those things, they look beautiful. I had already told my family and friends to go, but several things happened during that month, that did not allow us to go. One of them, I told you in the previous post (I got sick) See here; when we went to my niece's birthday, on the way back we wanted to go, seeing Christmas (because we would come back at night), but my uncle's car didn't help us that day, I also shared here everything that happened to us (that day, believe me, we will never forget it! XD XD XD) See here.
"Things go better when they are not planned" (so they say), and I confirm it, being all of us there that day, we decided at that moment to go and see Christmas.
Another of the places I wanted to capture in photos was the stretch of Bolivar Avenue that they decorated with many umbrellas, I love everything colorful, so being there, so close to that place!, I told my cousin that we should go for those photos I wanted so much!.
We enjoyed a lot that night! We had many photos left to remember! And as I always tell you: family is the best of the best! Enjoy it always!. See you soon!, thanks for reading until the end. Blessings.
- All the photos in this publication were taken by my cousin and myself, from their cell phone. I have authorization to make use of them, for the realization of this post.
