Just a little update from me. It's been an amazing Chinese New Year and there's still nine days of celebration. I was able to hang out with family and friends and I played pickleball three times last week which was more than my usual once a week play.
Today, I want to explore a hypothetical scenario of whether or not I would go camping and hunting with Galenkp? For this post, I will refer to him as Mr. G. Honestly speaking, I'm not much of an outdoorsman but I don't think it would hurt to go camping and hunting with Mr. G for a weekend. In addition to that, Mr. G is kind of my idol here on Hive and I still haven't met him in person so this wouldn't be a bad opportunity to get to know him even though I would prefer going to a nice place to eat steak etc.
I'm just going to be straight up. I lack the survival skills needed if I was to be stranded in the wild. I guess you could say that I've been domesticated. If I was put out in the wild, I would not know how to make a fire or hunt for food or know what berries aren't poisonous. I would be a dead man and dead weight if I was stranded with strangers. There would be no Wi-Fi or electricity to save me.
That's why I think it would be a good experience for me to hang out with Mr. G and learn the ropes of camping and hunting for a weekend. He would be able to give me a crash course on survival 101. There would be a lot to learn and it could some in useful in the future if the zombie apocalypse happened or perhaps if I somehow got kidnapped and made an escape.
I believe Mr. G would be a good teacher. He would explain things well and he might even be a bit tough but one things for sure he knows his stuff. At least, I believe so based on what I've seen him write here on Hive. I'd be confident in learning from him. It would be fun for me but I'm not sure what it would be like for him to teach a total newbie everything camping and hunting.

Not as good as before. Just basic stuffs, those were many decades ago. Old oledi.
But you are still young with many years ahead of you. Knowing something survival is important especially you are one day going to be the head of your household.
