Hi @galenkp ! I wanted to upload what I want as a gif. I couldn’t add gif before. I hope I will be successful now.
The only thing I want to have since my childhood is scooter! When I was little we didn’t have the situation to buy this. Then our financial situation improved but I grew up. But even now all I want is a scooter. My ex boss had a scooter. Of course I was taking the opportunity at lunch breaks! 😊
Maybe my husband will buy me an electric scooter?
Merry Christmas to you too, I hope you're having a nice day.
You know, I rode one of these once, I must have been 35 or so. I crashed...Didn't end well. I'm not going to take all the blame for it though, I'd had a couple of beers. 🤣
I hope you get your scooter one day...Don't drink and scoot though, trust me.

Ahahahahaha! Hold my beer and watch this!
Been there, done that got the stitches.
Lol...The old, hold my beer line rarely ends well.
Ha, ha, ha. I totally see you both going crazy, starting with the phrase hold my beer and watch this! And then I see you ending on the floor laughing after some sloppy display of skills 😂
Ahahahahaha. First guy to say 'Hold my beer and watch this' has a small chance of success. The second one has 0 chance :)
I've done my math and it looks like this is the way 🤣
Did you fall? Actually a very safe tool. :p
Sort of went over the top and landed on my face. It was ok though, it was messed up already so probably the best part of my body to catch my fall. No damage was done as it was already in bad shape. My face I mean. 🥴
An electric scooter would be so cool! There's a young bloke around here who rides a really nice one, it's mostly black but has a lovely polished wood deck with inset red highlights. He whizzes around on it and you see him speeding up and down the hills between here and the CBD. I've often wondered if one would be a good option for traveling the 5km into work - faster than walking, and then just plug it in to charge once in the office.
I think an electric scooter would be a way better option than walking to work. I think that would be just about the best way there is to go 5km twice a day...
Yes! There's talk of them putting the electric hire scooters in our CBD. They've had them in Brisbane for a while now, although it hasn't been without its issues - speeding riders, dumped scooters, lost helmets and so forth. If they do go ahead with them here I'll definitely be giving one a try and assessing it as a future work transport option :)
Ha, we made our own scooters, a plank "V'd" at both ends with a bolt passing through a car's ball bearing in the v. Then another verticle plank and a broomstick over the top for a handle.
Unfortunately the handle couldn't turn and the scooter could only go in in a straight line.
I remember my accident with my scooter and the double hiding I got for tearing my school short pants and for cutting off a piece of my mom's broom handle 🤣
Oh, no! Not mom's broom handle! I think I always knew that was off limits...
Not that I didn't get plenty of 'hiding' for other offenses real or imagined, but I don't think mom ever lost a broom or mop handle..
Yep! Holy territory around that broom Sir Tom. I think that she was riding that broom at night and the missing piece would have been like a flat on a car 🤣
One day I must tell you what happened when I tried to find the the little guy that rang the two bells on her prized alarm clock.
Of course I stripped the clock, but I didn't find the guy and that poor clock never worked again.
Christmas wishes to you and Sam my friend!
Just one. Please tell me you have a picture of that custom build @papillioncharity.
Nah! That was 50+ years ago my friend and we had no cameras those days 🤣
I'll gladly take that visual you painted then. I would've been about -6. You mighta had the ultimate prototype right there 50 years ago.
Hahaha, yes it could go like the clappers with those steel wheels, especially down the off ramp of the old Victoria bridge. That same bridge cost me many skins, as like any other invention there were some "teething" problems.
Going at top speed with no brakes presented some "problems" and the steel ball racers were slippery as hell on the tarred roads.
I leave the rest to your imagination, which should include coming to an abrupt halt at full speed against a curb and landing ass over kettle in someone's garden!
I guess everybody but me has a crash adventure with a scooter! :D
Hahaha, well should I say "knock on wood" here?
Count yourself lucky my friend.

tokens.I hope you get your scooter, I hope you get it this year. There are just tons of really cool electric scooters out there!
My friend Ray bought a gas powered scooter (it came in a car trade) and he rode the thing quite a little. One Sunday he took it to the local store to buy the Sunday paper. My Mom passed him just as he was turning onto this street where he lived. He waved and dove into the corner. He was standing on the paper and his feet skidded out and he lit on his butt. My mom laughed and laughed about that... After she made sure he was OK.
Lets get this toy...
Head on down to the Aussie G-Dogs side of the planet and see what kind of carnage is in store.
We would be layin on our asses so quick with stitches and bruises... LOL
I think this Kraken would be a little more in our "Wheel House," as all 3 of us are 2 wheel enthusiasts!
What a kewl video of this awesome strong kraken bike.

Deranged Visions @derangedvisions has a One Wheel. He liked it so much he bought a pint for his wife. He's got several cool videos on his one wheel.
And that is the kind of bike I could get behind! "A little help here, brother?" on the pedaling part. I like it!
I hope! I really want this. :)
I know everybody will be surprised but I have a genuine mad man for a friend. Actually there are more than one. This particular one, Danny rode his motorcycle here from Long Island, New York. We did some basic maintenance on it and he headed south. Ended up riding all the way to Belize. The really weird part is he left here with a rzr scooter lashed on top of his load. On his way home he gave it to a kid in Mexico...
This is a picture of Danny demonstrating his scooter to the assembled multitude at an event called 'Christmas Stalking'. We eat lunch at a remote place in SoCal and pitch in a few dollars for childrens charity. He was in Mexico to start that part of his adventure before the sun went down.
Hello the gif I see look great, this is a fun toy hopefully your husband will give it to you.
If it does not give you that pleasure, buy it yourself regardless of whether the Christmas passed, just buy it and enjoy it do not let life happen to you without having that toy.
😜 Merry Christmas @ssygmr
Thank you! Merry Christmas! I hope I can get one. :)
I love your gif, I did have an scooter and an accident on it too, lol. I hope you can have yours ;)
I am glad you like it. Thank you! :)
How friggin cool is this.!!
A scooter with a reverse gear...
Lmao!
Just kidding. It looks like your gif rewinds backwards. I Love it. Such a simple, fun, and also healthy toy.
Unless you do a nose dive over a curbside like I probably would. :-p
Ahahahahha! :D Did you fall too?
DV spent a month off of work with an ooopppsie. Some serious road rash, but the worst was the wrenched knee. He didn't have to have surgery....
It's Christmas and all she wants since childhood is a scooter. Tell me all about your electric scooter, you did get one right?
Unfortunately I don't have a scooter. :(
Thought for sure there'd be a scooter under the tree.
Yes start with the kicker scooter, then you can kick start a motorbike later in life. Merry Christmas.
I hope! Thank you, merry Christmas! :)
I got to have one of these when I was like 11, but I'm more of a bike guy. Good thing you could finally get one. Also, fingers crossed you get the electric one. The gif works just fine and you look so happy in it!
Yeah, I'm very happy on the scooter! :))
I'm glad to know that :)
