The last time it snowed in my city was three years ago. This year, the weather reminded us what winter used to be like. It's a normal winter with the cold we were once used to and, of course, snow. That’s why I decided on Saturday to visit a village about 20 minutes from my city called Upper Milia. There were rumors that you could find amazing, traditionally cooked foods there.
The ride there was okay—there was some fog in parts of the road, but nothing too difficult to handle. However, the drive back was a bit trickier because the fog had gotten thicker and spread across more areas.
The village itself is small, with only about 50 residents, so there’s just one tavern. But let me tell you, the tavern was excellent! When I heard about the dishes they offered, I was filled with joy. It had been a long time since I’d had the chance to enjoy proper, traditionally cooked food.
When I started the trip, the weather wasn’t great—it was raining in the city, and snow was expected in the higher areas. Along the road, there were parts where it was snowing heavily, combined with thick fog. Despite that, let me tell you, the ride was amazing! Sure, the fog made things a bit challenging, but the food there was more than worth it.
On Sunday, the weather took a big turn, and it was time for skiing. Last year, I didn’t go skiing at all because there was no snow. But from the looks of it, this year will be completely different—there’s going to be plenty of snow to enjoy for at least a month or two! That means that I am going to spend a lot of time skiing this year and I will enjoy the last drop of snow.
P.S I was really lucky that I had a full weekend because I might have traded the Trump meme.
