As per my title, I like kids... but, several factors or conditions affect it. First, let me share some of my experiences with kids. :)
When I was in 6th grade of elementary, my cousin Nicole was born. She's like a little sister to me and we've been close since then. And around almost 10 years later, Godwyn was born. These two have been my babies ever since they were born. Although I'm more of a big sister to Nicole, there was a time when Godwyn called me his second mother since I used to take care of him when he was a baby.
These two always made my day that my exhaustion from school and work in those days easily vanished. Now, Nicole is graduating from college while Godwyn is halfway done with junior high school. I still consider both of them my babies... and I'll always love both of them.
Despite this, I actually can't imagine myself spending time with kids 24/7. hahah I love playing with them... Perhaps, I could do it for a couple of hours, but it costs me too much of my energy. For example:
This is my male bestie's son. I love this boy and I enjoy playing with him. However, he's a ball of energy! I like it when my best friend's family visits our place so we can bond and spend time together...but after playing with his son too much, I have no energy left to spare. haha Same goes for all of my other friend's kids. I don't mind playing with them... but my HP is limited... and my regeneration isn't that good, so I want out soon. haha

It's the same at work. I am an online ESL teacher who teaches students from all age groups. The youngest student I had was 3 years old. It's OK because her mom assisted her during the class... I don't mind having lessons with kids as they're so cute and adorable, but after our class, I feel so drained.
We have an option to have a "Kid's TAG" at work if we want more kids in our classes, and obviously, I opted not to have it. haha Well, some young students still take my classes even though I don't have that certain tag. XD As I've said, I don't mind having kids in my classes, but if I could choose, I'd rather not. (Ooopsss..)

There were a bunch of kids in our neighborhood... well, there are still a lot of them until now.
Last December 2021, our area was affected by a supertyphoon. There was no electricity for more than two weeks. I couldn't work, obviously... so, I invited the kids in our neighborhood and conducted an art class with them. We did it for a few days, and it was really helpful to keep me from getting bored. At the same time, I was able to provide a fun activity for them despite the disaster that happened. We're all busy now though. I'm back to work and they're all busy with school.
So yeah... I like kids... BUT I can't see myself having one as my energy level and my life force would be at risk. hahah Thanks for reading and see you around! Have an awesome weekend everyone! (^^,)/
