Hola Hive Community :) How was your weekend? :D Long time, no post because of health conditions; however, we will be sharing our trip that we took in March to the Trans-Cebuana Highway in Cebu.
Sunday Funday Adventure at Transcentral Highway
We deserve a break after 5 days of hard work! Living in Cebu is always fantastic. Do you want to go to the beach? You can visit the white sand beaches of Lapu-Lapu, Bantayan, Moalboal, and others. Do you want to go on a mountain trip? You can visit Busay, Balamban, Toledo, and other locations. Do you want to go on a food trip? Il Corso Food Yard, Sugbo Merkado, Werpa Foodpark, and many more can satisfy your hunger. All locations are easily accessible, and traffic is light.
After John's duty, as he is on the night shift at the time. He arrived at our house around 6:30 a.m. because we had decided to have breakfast with Lightning, our dog, on TCH or Trancestral Highway. It was cold, and the fog was visible as I drove down the road. TCH attracts a large number of visitors due to the abundance of attractions, restaurants, and cafes. It is a long journey, but it is well worth it once you arrive. It is more accesible if you have your own motorcycle or car as it is far from the city already.
As we arrived at our usual location, we simply relaxed and enjoyed the moment. The view from here is very nice and overlooking, and you can already see the Balamban proper. The fog was thick by that point, and it was very cold; we wore jackets, and Lightning wore her sleeping shirt. We make a point of spending time with Lightning once a month. We take her to the mall, a park, or any other location where she can explore the outside world. We treat her as if she were a baby rather than a dog.
We were chillin' when a taho vendor passed by, so we bought one to fill our tummies. Taho is a popular Filipino dish made of tofu, sago, and sugar syrup. The taho is hot, which is an excellent match for the weather. Lightning is so adorable while waiting for the taho.
We decided to eat breakfast at our next stop after an hour of chilling. It is only a 5-minute drive away.
We chose to eat at Baluarte Ni Alfredo. This is a well-known location along the Cebu Transcentral Highway, particularly among riders. People will travel this far just to eat breakfast or dinner. There are a lot of motorcycles parked outside, as you can see. For breakfast, we ordered Nilat-ang Baka, Hungarian Sausage, and Barbecue. The prices are also reasonable; we only spent about 250 pesos ($5) total. The facility is also clean, and the staffs are friendly. They serve a lot of dishes, too.

We sometimes need to get away from the city's busy streets to get some fresh air. It may be far away, but it will be beneficial to our mental health. Remember to treat yourself as a reward for your efforts. It was a refreshing trip because we got to see so many trees and landscapes. It was a pleasant way to begin our day, and we can see Lightning is pleased as well. Have some fun and relax every now and then.

Hi guys, it looks like it was a great bike ride out.
Do you take Lightning on the bike with you? I suppose if she's used to it then it doesn't worry her. It's nice that you make a point of taking her out with you, she looks like a happy dog.
