Hi there everyone 👋. It’s the whole team of @thegoodbi here and we’re joining the weekly contest of The Weekend Community.
This is not our first time posting in this community. Miss @patsitivity told us if we’d like to have our entry for this. Quite hesitant because of schedule and other things to do, but here we are. We decided to do it because the topics are interesting, especially Option 1 💖.
We’ll share with you about our “best friends”.
JAYA
My best friends, Meche and Kate are my classmates way back in high school. We were classmates from the first year to fourth-year high school. We sit at the back of the class and that's how we became close 😊. We would talk about life, love, and gossip but the teacher would not notice us since we are at the back and we do have good grades 💯.
Since my mother packs snacks for me, they will automatically open my backpack during recess and eat my snacks 😂. We would go out and buy the McDonald's Coke Float every time we receive our allowance from our scholarship. We study, eat lunch, and go home together.
We have a lot of similarities and we could relate to each other; we are all Academic Scholars in high school, the eldest in the family, and our younger siblings are of the same age also. Every time we ask permission from our parents that we would go out together, our parents automatically approve it.
We part ways during college because we went to different schools but the communication is still there and we also see to it that we go out once in a while, and my sister is always my plus one, they don't mind hahaha they love it when I bring my sister during our get-together.
We see each other on our birthdays. We support each other's endeavors and now, we are in our 8th year of friendship 💖.
TERESA
When I heard or read this word, I'm quite confused. Who’s my Best friend 🤔? I have lots of friends but I cannot pick who among them are the best. For me, they are all the best in their own way. And I believe they have different ways in approaching me as well. And honestly, I don't want to choose because they are all amazing and I love them equally.
I experienced and know what the feeling of being left behind. I mean when I was in high school, I used to have this friend of mine that we were so close that people around us sometimes think that we’re twins. I could say we have a great bonding and friendship at that time 😊. But as we went to college, we separated for we didn't take up the same courses. And it started there that we talk less and we both have different companies. We don’t talk anymore ☹️.
There were times, seldom, that we message each other on messenger just to ask something, which made me sad 😔 . Maybe our friendship is not that strong enough to conquer the world char hahahaha So, yeah that's the reason why I dont want to choose who's my best friend but I have lots of friends and I love them very much and I am very thankful and blessed to have them. I have friends during my highschool days, college days, in my work, in my dorm and everywhere I’ve been haha 💖.
But if you'll ask me who I'm comfortable with sharing all my life stories and daily activities, it would be my boyfriend. He listens and talks to me all the time. A lot would say that bestfriend and boyfriend are different, but for me, he play both those roles. And I'm very thankful that he came into my life hehe 💖.
CIAN
I can say that I’m an introvert but I have alot of bestfriends hahaha. I’m still communicating with my bffs from all sorts of life 😅. The longest would be my elementary friends. But one person do really stand out from the rest, Jayv 💖. He’s my bestfriend in 2nd year Highschool up until now. Although we were already not together by college (different schools) and really far away in that matter, we still made sure to get in touch with each other from time to time.
I don’t know when we started being so close, but one thing’s for sure, I’m happy that our paths met. We have a lot of similarities and laugh at things out of the blue hahaha. We vibe.
We’re not the type to be clingy. When we see each other after a long period of time, we don’t hug and just talk like we’re not separated for 45373 years 😂.
Especially if we’re with our squad, everything will be a catastrophe haha. We laugh, cry, talk about our enemies, gossip, and most importantly, to listen.
We’ve been too busy every since college happened and now that we’re already working. He’s still in Samar while I’m in Cebu. But whenever we get to have time to chat or call or just need someone to talk, we got each other’s back 😊.
Any memorable moments together? Hmmm. I can say that every moment with him is memorable, but that would be too cliché haha. After minutes of thinking of moments, I’ll suddenly laugh or be sad. We already shared a lot of memories together. I remember one time we went out with the squad and it rained so hard that it flooded on their house, making him unable to go home. He stayed at my house for the night and it was our first sleepover hahahaha. I forgot if what we talked about before sleeping (might be updates from our other classmates). We made sure that he ate enough and safely go back the next morning to their house by personally giving him a ride home.
I’m so proud of this boy and what he become throughout the years. It would be my pleasure to see him to be more successful in life 😊.
JESSA
COF : I've already mentioned them in my last recent post. I also treat them as my bestfriends since we're close hahaha. Even though we don't see each other everyday anymore, we still chat each other and nothing really changed that much. More than 10 years of friendship since high school.
MORON 9 : College will not be fun without them. Even with us being stressed and tired of school, because of them, I was still able to enjoy and survive. Moron 9 not because we're dumb, but crazy when we're together. I’m so happy that we're still close even after graduating. We even attended weddings of our group. 3/9 of us are already married and now we're kinda shaking of the fact that we're really going further in life haha. I'm proud and happy for them and that we're all mature haha. 2 of the three that got married already has a kid/ pregnant too 💖.
VIRGINIA FAMILY : I also treat them as my bestfriends because I'm with them everyday and because of them, I'm happy doing my work. The environment is what I really prayed for. We treat each other not only as co-workers but as a barkada. I’m so happy that we've build this friendship in our workplace because my everyday is not boring. We're similar in being crazy and lively, and we all love eating and gossiping hahaha.
MY BOYFRIEND : Charing 😂. He is my human diary wahahahahaha.
I always tell him every day about everything that's happening around me, my Marites buddy. I’m so blessed to have him not only as a lover but also as my bestfriend. Before we met each other, I've been to so many heartbreaks. Even getting to the point where I questioned God why these are all happening to me when I've been serious with all of those relationships. Then he came, my man ❤. God really has a better plan for me. A person who loves me more than anything: is mature, loyal, understanding, and almost all of the good traits you can ask for. I still have insecurities because of my pimples, but he always make sure to say and make me feel that I'm beautiful all the time. We're LDR atm but we're still going strong and talk to one another like we're together physically. We’re going 3 years now. He's my bestest friend of all, the one ❤
That's it everyone. Hope we were able to give appreciation to our bestfriends in the right way. They deserve to be known and acknowledge by many 💖.
THE GOOD B.I. is a group of 4 employees-friends from Cebu City wanting to share their adventures and random ideas with everyone. The group’s future stories to tell will be so vast and diverse. Imagine having four brains to share different ideas and might end up in a disagreement. A feat that others might be so fearful to do, but they believe that it is what will make their posts more exceptional and remarkable.
