Hey guys @forykw @dora381 I'm glad to hear that you guys finally met in person (wish I could join ) and thanks so much for explaining Hive to our friends @forykw. I'm not sure that I can answer all the questions if someone asks me about Hive. 😅 We have a small Vietnamese Hive group in NZ, and I hope that you guys can introduce Hive to more Kiwis 😆
The weather sounds great today ha. I visited Welly a couple of times before and it was so windy :)
Have a great weekend ahead.
Wellington is that basis... when it's good it's perfect. Otherwise... you will notice.
And yeah, I am thinking of exploring more what makes people stay away from crypto and what things would make them try it if it was available. Then it might be actually easier to tackle more people. Because I am suspecting most people will just be the "entry" bit on having someone to onboard, although others might have other reasons as well and I just want to sense which types these usually are.
For me, the main reason I didn't like crypto because the environmental effect that I heard about. When I learned that Hive using different algorithm and commit to use renewable energy, I wanted to try and explore more. But it is just one of the check in my list. Of course, I was curious about Hive blog - a new social media platform and I could tell my dear girlfriend @trangbaby made a lot of positive things in her life.
Exactly and I wonder if more are in the same situation and that might completely change their perspective once knowing that are hundreds of different blockchains out there with all sorts of ways to work.
You are so right. When I first mentioned HIVE to someone off-chain, their immediate response was to send me this link, which is about an entirely different blockchain altogether, but also named "Hive", which has been buying up green energy production sites in the USA for running their crypto-mining venture. I had to reassure that person that our HIVE blockchain is nothing to do with that.
Thank you my dear. Can't wait for you to be here so we can expand our Hive Viet to New Zealand.
We have quite good weather in Jan/Feb. Thanks to global warming, it is nicer and nicer every year. I get used to with the windy weather so when we have a beautiful day, I thought I was not in Wellington haha it is a fun feeling.
