If you could experience a particular weekend from your past over again for a second time which would it be, what made it so good and why do you want to re-live it
Time is a tricky thing- as we age, we have so many memories from our past that we wish we could go back and experience one more time. If I could re-live a particular weekend from my past, it would be the one I spent with my closest friends in Auckland before I decided to move to another city. We were all a bit standoffish to each other at first but once someone broke the ice it only took us minutes to fall into conversations about life and everything else that mattered. We just met each other once we traveled to New Zealand, but we had a great time together.
What made it so good? I remember vividly that It was very memorable because it was my very first trip around New Zealand and I had a great time with my friend. There were so many places in the north that we visited, such as the Coromandel Peninsula, Waitomo Glowworm Caves, New Zealand World War I Memorial Forest, etc.
Everyone knows that after a hard-working week, the road trip is so much more enjoyable when you have your favorite music playing in the background and your friends in the car with you. It's hard to not feel happy when you're in a good mood and it seems like everyone else in the car is just as happy. I can't help but bob my head or sing along to my favorite songs. Let's imagine a situation where a long road trip was just about to commence and all of the passengers were excited about what was going to happen.🌤️ How fun is that?
There were just not enough hours in our day or days in that weekend to see it all the places. The Coromandel Peninsula was the highlight of the trip, with its ruggedly beautiful beaches, volcanic hillsides with lush forests. Such picturesque views. It was so beautiful and we could not get enough of it. We went to a few beaches and we even got to see a seal! The best part was when we saw some amazing wildlife including dolphins and birds.
After we took the weekend trip, my friends and I got closer and understood each other better. On the way there, we shared about all sorts of things like work, family, friends, traveling, and so on, which made us appreciate the time we had together in another country. The drive took some time but we were grateful for the experience. I think this was one trip that will stick with us for a while because it was such an unforgettable journey !!!
I wish to come back on this trip together with them. I think I'm not the only one who has this feeling. It made me feel very happy to have a group of friends who are so close-knit. When they had a conversation, it was almost as if I'm in it. Through their laughter and joke, I felt complete. I don't know how else to say it without sounding cheesy but they were my family away from home. ♥️

I miss you too baby. I wish you are still here so we can enjoy a "chill" weekend together. We had so much fun on that trip, right? Trying to create the word "Love" oh dear it was so fun. Then the experience of eating at the beach at 2am with the "gang", oh my god I miss it so much. Thank you for bringing this special memories to the start of my week :)

What a beautiful experience to be able to share with friends, your anecdotes brought to my memory an unforgettable weekend, some years ago we went hiking to a mountain with a group of friends of which for different situations almost all of them are out of the country and whenever we can we keep in touch. Thanks for bringing those memories to my mind.

As you say @trangbaby the good times and memories always come from having a group of friends who are so close-knit and I can tell you about a few of them, that is one major thing I am missing living in Thailand but I am finding other ways by traveling more that is exciting me now meeting different people of different cultures :)

Traveling isn't just a great way for you to explore new places, but also a fantastic way for us to meet different people from different cultures. :)
Now if I was to do that it would be never-ending stories...hehe.. but your right and traveling is the best way of knowing yourself and other cultures which I enjoy very much doing.
