Yes I'm a little late in posting about our fathers day weekend, it's been a whirlwind of events and very little mobile phone reception ever since this weekend and I'm slowly catching up on posts! So much to write about when you travel full time. However, on Sunday the 4th of September in Australia we celebrate all the fathers in our lives and what they do and have done for their children. This fathers day, our children made cards for their dad and we had a beautiful fun and gorgeous weekend at a little place in North Queensland called Wonga Beach. Wonga beach is north of the town Mossman, which is north of Cairns. We stayed with friends who live at the Pinnacle Beach Caravan park, this little spot of paradise created the perfect atmosphere for a beautiful fathers day weekend.
From stick cubby's and bunkers on the beach, to rope swings and swimming in the Mossman River, to roasting marshmallows on a beachside camp-fire, everything that makes for a lovely weekend to celebrate the man who loves and cherishes our children.
Checking for the resident 4m long crocodile from a safe place on the car roof.
Wow! I bet your family enjoyed weekend tropical paradise, I wish I could also bring my whole family to that kind of place.
We are very blessed to be able to travel to such beautiful places. You never know maybe one day you and your family will be able to visit too😊
