You know, 35 years ago, maybe even before the 1989 revolution, here in Romania, in the countryside, in every country house you could certainly find a barrel of pickled cabbage, moreover in the peasant houses there was a template where every Sunday they prepared those ,,sarmale,, , but also roast pork or chicken.
These dishes were always followed by a glass of "țuică", a distilled drink made from fermented plums, but sometimes people didn't stop at one glass and continued until morning.
Do you realize that the next day they woke up with hangovers or headaches and then they turned to that juice from the pickled cabbage barrels exactly what I wrote about in my post.

That's true, but we must take care to preserve traditions and pass them on to our descendants.
