RE: My Childhood Stories - #Theweekend

Grandma used to tell me stories every night. Hearing those stories, I used to get lost in them, as if I was the king of those stories. Often, I used to go with my father to the farm, where he used to tell me about the crops and the animals and birds living around there.

Beautiful moments there! Reminds me a lot of my childhood and the part of it passed in Poland with my Grandma, I used to go there every summer. She would tell me stories too, in Polish about all sorts of stuff that an "italian" kid would know nothing about.

I have most of my relatives living in Poland so I would spend time with my grandads and grandmas, uncles and aunties and they all lived basically in the nature, remember my grandad and the woods behind his house, great memories there in those woods! Remember once with my cousin running away from a wolf, crazy scary shit that was! (We had bikes)
Grandma had a farm and it was just beautiful man! Those memories are really a punch of color in the greyness of my other childhood memories lived in a big city. Playing with the animals, messing around with the tractor acting like you can fix it, my grandad made me drive one when I was 7 or 8, in the middle of the fields ahahah oh man! This memory just came back now, as I was reading your post and picturing all of the stuff you did, it did not even go through my mind when I was writing my entry 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for bringing me back those great memories 🙏

My father always asked me to be truthful and say nothing, which annoys others.

What a simple and great advice!

When I was seven, we had a dog in our house that we loved very much. That dog is no more alive, but he used to take care of us. One day, I went out of the village with a couple of other children while playing and forgot the way back home. The dog showed us the way and took us safely to the house.

What a champion!

Wonderful memories you got! 😁 Thanks for sharing this! It made me go out of the city for a moment and reminded that there's a world out there much better than the one in here! Damn 🤣

Seems like you had quite a good time and very chilled, that's the best part 👌

Have a great weekend 😎

Thank you so much for everything. I live in a city now trying to find a job (I lost my job 8 months ago as my company served notice to 200 professionals due to pandemic). I am seriously planning to go back to village and get involved in farming. The tractor, yes I also tried driving a tractor at the age of nine when our tractor driver let me handle it. Thanks once again.
