Babies Day Out ;)

in Weekend Experiences β€’ last year

Hola amigos! 😁

If I had three children under ten years old to entertain this weekend, what would I do and why? Alone?

Well, coincidentally, I've been with three kids under ten years on a weekend and here's what we did.

Played around with Snapchat filters.

Their parents came along though, and it was from one location to another, eating and dancing and fake yelling and frowning at them sometimes. It was fun but I didn't have the liberty to get creative.

If I were alone with them, we'd definitely go to an amusement park with a bouncing castle or wherever else is fun for both kids and adult children πŸ˜….

If we were home, as we've been at some point, I'd draw up board games and floor games, and I'd engage them in conversation. Like serious but fun conversation; get their little-brained perspective on things and quiz them for fun, handing out goodies as prizes.
I'm teacher-inclined πŸ˜„, if there's anything like that. What I mean is, I'm quick to give lessons or make corrections whenever I'm around kids and sometimes adults, when appropriate, so I'd also do a lot of that in a cool way, instead of laugh off or ignore their mistakes. I believe in the saying, "catch them young." I mean it's better to teach kinds than grownups. I didn't say easier, I said better.
An easier way to teach them though, is making it fun, right?

Naa, no way there'll be TV time. They have enough of those when I'm not around, and I don't consider it spending time with them if we're all staring at a screen, especially as I'm a visit-once-in-a-blue-moon kind of aunt.

I haven't got any experiences with kids except for in a classroom or during short visits like this to relations far away, and friends of mine whose close relations are kids and live close, almost always complain about how troublesome and a pain in the ass they are, but I always tell them off. I do know that kids are a handful, at any age really, but I can't relate so until I can, I'll continue to love and want them around me all the frigging time. Hehe.

Many thanks for stopping by.
Until next time. Xoxo. :D

Children are just children and the adults who say they are annoying are because they don't pay attention to them as they should in my opinion.
It's great you like to teach them and that you are a fun aunt:)

Right? Oh well.
Thank you! 😁
