Today we have a friend visit for a pizza. So why not open a beer and make some drinks.
Pizza beer drink with friends | Drink Recipe
We ordered a pizza half sausage w/ cheese and half margarita, and it just a thought occurred, does you have half and half pizza flavors in your city?! Or its just a Brazilian invention?!
The beer we choose drink until pizza arrives was one that I alread talked avout here on Hive, a passion fruit IPA from Baden Baden. Great combo with fried Parmesan snaks as appetizer.
After tasting couple of beer we decided to go for caipirinha. Caipirinha is a very common Brazilian drink. The original recipe is lemmon ice and sugar and cachaça mixed.
For those who are not familiar with Cachaça, is a canna sugar distilled. We also use 'Pinga' another canna sugar destilada, but cheeaper version.
We also like to use different fruits now a days, go great with pineapple, strawberry, kiwi, passion fruit and others tropical fruits. Or you can mix two of then and creat your own. Suit yourself.
One of my favorites is grapefruit. But as its a seasonal fruit is not Everytime we have it available.
Caipirinha Recipe:
Your are going to need:
- Lot's of ice
- 1 squizzed lemmon (used Sicilian this time)
- 1 passion fruit
- 4 sugar spoons (if like sweet drink add one more or tasty and add if needed)
- Vodka (you can use sake or cachaça)
- Cocktail shaker
Preparation:
Grab the cocktail shaker, add in this order: fruit juice, sugar, ice and vodka.
Shake very well.
Grab a drink glass, add some ice and pour the mixture. Recomend sift drink so passsion fruit seeds dont go to cup and make it little beet uncomfortable to drink. But it's your choice. Some people like with seeds.

A caipirinha de limão é minha favorita tbm mas gosto de fazer umas diferentes para agradar amigos.
Tradicional Limão com Velho Barreiro minha favorita tbm.
Mas faz uma vez essa receita ai. Nao uso a casca do limão. Fica mto boa e demora pra amargar.
