Did you know that April 29th is World Dance Day?
Today I participated in an event of the mayor's office called "world dance day festival", which was presented in a square near my house, called ¨plaza de el parque¨. There were dance schools of all kinds; joropo, urban dance, merengue, salsa, Arabic dance, among others.
The dances were so characteristic and well coordinated, I loved their variability when choosing the music and types of movement, since dance is an art that expresses itself in different ways.
In addition to such extravagant dances, there were a number of stalls selling all kinds of things. Such as; flowers, decorations, drawings, bracelets, drinks, food, desserts, necklaces, stockings, souvenirs, among others. Definitely impressive, it was an event that started at 4pm and gave a fabulous closing at almost 9pm. This event felt very enjoyable, something not so extensive but quite comfortable, the girls and guys who came up to give their presentations, made sure that your attention was not diverted with their performances and professional demonstrations.
After strolling through all these stalls I bought a locket that I had wanted for a long time, I also went with companions who decided to buy rings and necklaces. Although to be frank, we were left wanting to buy other nice things they had on offer.
Lately in my city there have been many interesting events of all kinds; anime, k-pop, book fairs, video games and many more. I really hope they continue with this initiative and manage to make more events of this kind, as it is a good alternative to break away from the routine both student and work.
I plan to publish more events that arise in lecheria or Anzoátegui in general, I like to give the opportunity to this type of news to surprise me.
