hello my dear hivers!
It’s my first time in this community, I wanted to tell about the time I burned with the exhaust pipe of my dad’s motorcycle for trying not to stick my face against the floor, it was very ugly.
Once a long time ago I went to my best friend's house to spend the day with her, but since my mom couldn't take me, my dad offered to take me on the motorcycle (I really like motorcycles, I've never had a problem with that), so nothing, we left around 7 in the morning to my friend's, and I foolishly put on shorts, well, I didn't see it as a bad idea at the time.
When we had already arrived at my friend's house, I started to get off the motorcycle, I felt like I was going to fall because if I remember correctly, my shirt was hooked, at that moment I lowered my leg to support myself and accidentally hit the tube escape (it was also my mistake to go out the wrong way), I escaped as fast as I could feeling the burn, I looked at my leg and thought that nothing had happened, but it hurt so much that I never imagined it would be like this
When I go up to his house I see that the burn is starting to turn yellow, then I realize that it was going to hurt a lot (attached photo since I love to document my misfortunes)
Seeing my leg like that, I realized it was going to be very painful and really by that time, I was burning so much but, try to pay as little attention as possible.
About an hour and a half later, we went down for a walk and the burn just got worse.
every time my ampoule got bigger and burned more.
After that we went back up to her house and suddenly it burst, I don’t know how it happened.
by that time it was burning a little less but it was still burning
When my friend's mom saw it, she gave me a cream to put on and specified that after a while I would turn black because that's how the cream worked.
later in the afternoon when my mother went to get me I had a really bad burn and she hadn’t noticed that I had burned
I showed her and she worried a lot pq was very bad
After that, it was a very painful few days, because a burn like that has to be cleaned up and it hurts too much. I cleaned it myself, but I didn’t want anyone to touch it, it hurt so much.
Here you can see something better but really, they were more painful parts, there was a lot of dead skin that had to be removed, and it stuck a lot (a doctor told us that it had to be removed), it had to be cleaned once a day and it cried too much
Ok, I know it is very bad to put a bandage on a burn like this, but I had no other choice, I had to go out and I had no way to cover it, people were going to see it and it would surely make me uncomfortable.
After a lot of suffering and intense pain, it started to heal and it didn’t hurt at all, I just had to let the scab fall off and not touch it.
here it came off a lot and sometimes it removed a little bit of the crust as it hung and bothered
by this time I was practically almost ready, I was just thinking about the brand that I was going to keep
Today it's like this, it's been a year and I know it won't heal any more of that, I guess it's like a memory.
always remember to check that you are getting off the correct side of a motorcycle.
I've been riding motorcycles for many years and have burned my leg on the exhaust also; I was (stupidly) riding an Aprilia Falco 1000 with shorts on and well, the rest is history. Hopefully your scar heals. I wear mine with pride, and every now and then someone sees it and says, exhaust pipe, with a knowing nod of the head; those who have done the same.
After that burn, I have realized that there are many people who know how to detect when they burn you with an exhaust pipe.
That's a painful experience and I'm glad it did not get worse. I guess one can never be too careful.
the greatest care you can have is to wear long pants on a motorcycle

That was so bad and painful too. I am always scared of motorcycle especially the silencer part where it get hurt. One has to be careful while dropping down from any motorcycle.
I don't think covering with a bandage would heal faster than opening it for air to come in as this could heal quickly. You are feeling better considering it's a year you had such injury.
One just have to be careful
covering it with a bandage only made it worse at the time😭
Just looking at the pictures, I can tell it hurts a lot. Glad it’s better now. Let’s hope nothing like this happens again
Around here people use motorcycles a lot but I’m always scared cos I find it to be very risky.
I’m glad you’re feeling better now.🫶🏻
it's risky but really fun
ohh😱 that looks super painful, I hope you get better quickly
Going through the pictures in the post, oh my goodness i can't just withstand it, it's as if the wound is on my body
