Some things can be dreamed, others can be drawn....
A weekend of family enjoyment for the way things are right now in my family is a little complicated, many differences between brothers and sisters, not to mention that my mother is in bed, yes, recovering more every day.
The themes proposed by @Galenkp for this weekend are very interesting, personally I love it when among the options is to draw a picture because it is an activity that I enjoy, although I do not do it often, I am already questioning it by the way. And it is not that I am good at drawing, as it is notorious, I can do any doodle but I reconnect with my childhood when I do it, besides the activity as it is raised in these topics stimulates creativity and I think it is something positive.
My drawing expresses a situation that I consider ideal among the members of my immediate family.
In the center is my mother, a little younger, with my youngest nephew whom we have not had the joy of meeting in person since he was born in another country and so far my sister, his mother, has not been able to come and visit us.
For a moment I imagined that he is here with us and the joy of my mother, his grandmother, has been so great that she was even filled with vigor and the desire to dance.
In the drawing you can see couples, but they are not romantic couples but couples composed of a brother and a sister. We are all happy, one brother drinks from a glass, maybe he is drinking wine, another one drinks from a bottle, surely it is beer.
One of the girls has a glass in her hand, that could be a cocktail without liquor? I think that's me.... Uhmm I hadn't thought about it until now that I explain the drawing 🤭 although it would have been better to draw me with a beer bottle.
One of my sisters has a fan in her hand, it is very hot in that house I imagined.
A brother and sister reconciled after years of not even wanting to look at each other and now they don't want to separate, they are the ones with their backs turned.
In my drawing we are all happy and there is an atmosphere of good vibes and brotherhood. For a moment I want to keep one image like this.
Sometimes, drawing can be better than dreaming.
