RE: Escape: One thousand dollar weekend

in Weekend Experiences3 years ago (edited)

The cabin (or cave) in the wilderness is something I think about all the time, and have plans around achieving.

Probably that would be the best solution for me too. But how do you heat a cave in the winter? Hungary (the country I currently live in) usually have cold winters.

Last week I ran a posting contest in which people were hypothetically handed $1000 to spend on entertainment over a weekend

I do not even earn that in two months. But I know that there are people, who literally spend that (and even more) in a single weekend.

$200.11 worth of pumping to fill the tank.

My monthly pension-like income for my multiple disabilities is approximately only $250 USD per month, so I would very quickly go financially broke with that land cruiser.

this $200 hurt my back pocket badly enough.

Do not worry. I would go bankrupt with a $200 USD bill. I would become homeless again. But maybe I will become homeless again in the next winter anyway. Who knows. I do not even worry about it anymore. I am so very tired of this financial struggling.

Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.
