Hiking for me is a preferred one to recreate, to be in the nature far from the city and recharge.
Nowadays I live in a village, but I go to the city to work in my four hours per day part time job. Of course not in the weekends. But I often go to the city in the weekends too for shopping (mostly buying food for myself and for my Harris's hawk).

If i would live in the countryside (and hopefully 'll within a few years) probably i would visit the city during the weekends, and thats only because of the heavy traffic during the weekdays. But not on my ideal weekends! :)
