A freshly cook pork stew in guava for weekend.

Hello weekend experiences community. It's been two months I think since I last wrote an article here. I really missed writing and sharing my experiences here especially my recipe blogs and now let me share to you what happened on my weekend.

It's been two weeks since we last visited my parents house and I admit I missed the vibes here. Breathing some fresh air, listening to the birds and just feel the silent environment that makes me relax and at peace.

I went to our backyard to check my fathers vegetables and I was surprised when I saw the guava fruits. They are almost ripe and I got excited with it and pick some. I will use it to cook pork stew with guava.

The eggplant is also ready to be harvested same as the green chili that's why I will only buy pork and camote tops for my recipe.

We went to the market and I bought some pork. Forgive me if I didn't make a recipe blog for this because what I did was a vlog but as of this moment I wasn't able to edit it.

I really missed cooking at my own place and pace like the old time. I really missed cooking with an excitement and making a recipe blogs everytime I have a new recipe to be shared with you guys. My world in my inlaws house is far different compared here resulting that my routine also change.

Right now I am here in our yard enjoying the fresh air while writing and waiting for my husbands break time.

You want to see my freshly cook pork stew in guava?

  • As of this moment I decided to share to you the recipe but no photo attached.

Ingredients that I used.

Pork
Guava
Eggplant
Green Chili
Camote tops
Onion
Garlic
Oil
Fish sauce
Water

Procedure.

  • Sauteed the onion and garlic and add the pork. Once the pork released the fat you can now add some water and fish sauce.

  • Wait the pork until tender and put the guava. It's your choice if you want to mashed the guava and get the juice and throw the flesh or just leave the guava together with the soup.

  • Taste the dish and add some fish sauce according to your desired taste

  • Add the eggplant and the green chili and let it tender.

  • Add the camote tops and you can cover it until the camote tops cooked.

After I cooked the dish I planted some camote tops on our backyard and pick some guava fruits to give to my neighbors tomorrow.

That's all guys. Thank you for reading 😊
