Hello everyone, how was your day?
It's my first time to post in this community. And I will post about our experience in visiting my father-in-laws little garden.
We never thought he will have this little garden actually because we knew him especially my husband, his son. My husband wondered when his sister told him that his father was having a little garden in their grandmother's land. That is why, my husband want to see it for himself if it's true.
My husband and his father is not that close. There's a long story behind their being not close to each other. And I am always telling my husband that his father might change for the better. And glad that my husband didn't closed his heart. I know it's hard but I know they'll be good.
So yesterday, we visit them before we went to the river where we have our swimming. And his father told us he can't come because he will go to his garden. My husband told him that we will come to his farm after we have our swimming.
After we have our swimming in the river, we went to his farm. We just left our son to my husband's sister to babysit him.
And here's the photos I got from his little farm.
Here he is. He's busy putting smoke to his vegetables so that there's no insect and pest will eat his vegetables.
You will see, there's ampalaya, eggplant and bell pepper in his little garden. He said, since he don't have a work, he will do gardening instead. I felt happy upon hearing those words. Seems he's doing good.
Ampalaya
I am not fond eating ampalaya but my husband do. Even our son. Looking at his ampalaya plant, it seems that they're growing good and healthy. We actually had eaten some when my husband's sister came in our house to bring some.
Eggplant
I am waiting for the harvest of it. I really love this vegetable.
Bell pepper
It's still young and small. I didn't get near of it coz I might stepped on it.
Fishponds
He also have these little fishponds. He said his fishes are not yet big but they're many already. My husband tried to fed them.
I saw some colorful fishes in there.
I am just listening to their talk yesterday. Glad they able to have a short talk. Happy to hear them both changing words coz it only happens once in a blue moon. I do hope we'll stay like this. No wall in between. And I do hope that this changes of him will be good for all of us.
And I hope he won't be drink so much liquor because it won't be good for his health. I do hope he will takes care of himself.
Before we went home, he gave us some ampalaya for our viand.

Wow lots of ampalaya and eggplant. They are my favorite vegetables, tita. I eat ampalaya everyday sometimes. Very nice place too. Looks like my gramma's backyard. She has a lot of vegetables plants also.

Wow! His garden looks so nice. the eggplants are so healthy, I was wishing to see the bell peppers but I was a little disappointed that they're still young. Lovely images 🥰
Hihi thank you. Yes, the bell peppers were still young. Actually there are lots of seedlings there that he planted and I don't know what's the name of it. And I didn't took a picture of it because they didn't sprouted yet.
