When Nature Calls...You answer

Distinctively I remember, it was in the mid September and I was at my girlfriend's mom's house. They were having a little get-together with the fam and so i was invited.

Ah yes... I recall eating like an absolute maniac that day, sparing not a single chip or slice of pizza that came my way. Quite frankly, it was the only time I had ever put such pressure on my belly. Anyway, 5:50pm came later that day and I received an urgent email alert reminding me of the important Zoom webinar I had scheduled for 6:00pm.

Shit!

I remarked because the Webinar had completely skipped my mind. And so, with the swiftness of a jack rabbit, I rushed to get my computer and logged in quickly to my Zoom.

Ahh... The Webinar, by all means, was absolutely sublime! But, ere long, I started to feel myself getting paler when the metabolism from the food I had eaten earlier started to kick in. Hmm... I scarcely ignored the growling in my stomach. Then suddenly, I felt this strong nudge, almost like an aching voice, urging me to go use the bathroom. Of course, I ignored the feeling and concluded that I wasn't going to leave my seat until I was
finished with the seminar and so, I went on.

It took a while for this next miracle to happen but when it did... It saved my life: You see, as I was watching the webinar go on, I noticed from out the window the beautiful sunset that was in motion. It was a scene that was so unexplainably enchanting that I actually had to take a picture of. Personally, it felt as though nature was speaking to me at that moment and you know what?.. It WAS!

Ha! When Nature calls, you answer I guess...

Those were the words I muttered to myself before I caved in and proceeded to the bathroom, just like that! Hmph... it was almost like i instinctively knew what the universe was trying to tell me I'm that moment:

Go and take that shit boy!

And that's exactly what I did: I went to go poop! And when I did... I shat blood.

Obviously, I was rushed to the hospital for that bizarre excretion of mine and when I saw the doctor, it turned out that I had something called "Acute diarrhea" which was due to food poisoning WHICH was due to all that take out I had eaten earlier during the day.

Yup! Doctor said that if I hadn't had shat when I did, I would've been dead. So yeah, that's my favorite moment with nature. When its call LITERALLY saved my life.
