I'm a n00bie here. I'm only able to post because some people delegated points to me. I'm still trying to figure out how to level up. I have two friends that I mentioned Hive to but told them to wait until I levelled up enough to be able to lend them some Hive.
They wouldn't have persevered through the first days of ramping up.
Keep on posting awesome content, comments on other post too, then powerup your earned tokens. That will give strenght to your account, soon you can give relevant upvotes to your friends too.
Here's a more technical advice from our dear friend @guruvaj. 😉☝️
True that at the start, it's a bit slow to see your progress. But if you're able to endure all that and become consistent whenever you can, you can be like others who maximizes their potential in blogging. In my case, I tend to run out of topics so I can always post something to my blog. But these days I'm trying to focus and find out what I can put out to the public.
I think also, engagement to other users here in the platform can help you reiterate the things you want to do and the things you already know. There's a lot to discover! And if you're willing to explore the cast possibilities available today, you'll be wherever you want to be in no time.
Thanks. That what I've been trying to do. The first couple weeks I've been exploring communities; deciding if the Hive community was worth the time - it seems to be, I've had great conversations - and slowly finding my way.
All communities take a while to learn - Reddit, Stackexchange, etc... but this has a slightly steeper learning curve than most.
I guess you are more adventurous than I am. I have read before the stuffs you mentioned but I never had the chance to check out what are they about. I was probably more focused here. There's lot to explore. I myself think that I haven't even scratched the surface that's why I try to engage as many as I can to others. That's also to say that I'd like to connect to more people who are actively participating in the community.
Hope you find your way and get to see how much you could do as a blogger here in the Hive Blockchain. There are are other front end platform aside from ecency, but I would highly recommend ecency to you.
I still don't understand these "front-end" platforms and why I would l choose ecency over another, but I'll leave those questions for another day.
