As much as I would like to be writing docs on some programming languages and dropping videos along as I code thing with some of my favourite programming languages at the same time and you getting the feeling of building some of your dream project and seeing them working and deployed .
I would also like to say some of the downsides of being a developer some of the are not really that serious 😁 , please kindly keep on reading .
First I have being a c++ , python JavaScript developer and programmer over 4yrs now and to be honest with you the journey of learning a new programming language and a mastering them and building cool things with them is fun and becoming really good at them that you start to work for People can't tell you what a thrill that is.
I would beg to differ that being a developer or a programmer is an easy path or smooth path , it is kinda of a rollercoaster path .
In between those times that I was learning how to code , there are sometimes where I feel like quiting which I can tell you is a really dreadful feeling and kinda crusty , cause I would face some challenges like trying to understand some block of code or even making the code which is a properly written to execute but I would be getting errors and bugs which are literally unnecessary but those are the things that makes you a Good Developer .
Many people have this conception that being a developer or programmer that all you have to do is to follow some steps and guidelines to code while that is true it is not fully established to become a programmer or developer is about using what you know about the language you learn or framework or library whatever you learn to solve practical problems on your own cause this way you are developing your critical and analytical skills and to top it you are also developing your algorithmic skills.
I started coding since 2018 I started with c++ cause of my flare in robotics, I love inventing and creating and designing my own ideas and bringing them to reality at full fledged scale. Some say that I am being too dreamy but I am not , that all I have been practically doing .
C++ gave me a real tough time because it is a real complex programming language which in my opinion should not be you first programming language if you want to learn how to code but if you don't mind headbutting it please go for it.
C++ is one of the main programming language used in robotics , why ? Well c++ is a low level general purpose which is used to create computer softwares like Adobe , games , game engine like Unity , it is used to code one of Boston dynamics humanoid robot , just to mention a few.
If you want to learn c++ you can check sololearn.com .
Then after build a snake game , and mastering the language which took me some months then I started to use it to code some robot in Arduino which Is pretty cool although Arduino is not c++ programming language but it uses the same structure.
Then I move to python cause I was interested in creating cool robots that not only avoid obstacles using irsensors or ultrasonic sensor or lidar sensor but a robot that can have a mind of it own , which is capable of having a smooth intellectual conversation with me like JARVIS in Ironman.
So learning python and it core took me about 2months and mastering it took me few months, then I started creating chatbot although the one I can run on my computer but it was capable of having a sensible intellectual conversation with me .
Then I was interested in the web or hacking for some reason so I learnt JavaScript which I have dominated the most , now this took me about some months to master well .
I can keep on talking about how I became a multi lingual programmer or developer cause it fun sharing my experience.
" If you want to be good at something you have to have
to be persistent and to never give up until you're good at it. "
So far my passion in code has brought some benefits and blessings, of course there's always something new to learn every day so go and learn it and be the person you want to become .
Happy learning .
Happy coding.
Àa
I'd be taking C++ as a course in school this semester, I just pray God helps me😂...nice post
That's great bro, thanks man
