Programming My Own Trading Chart - Part 33 - Refactoring Generic Indicators

Work is pressing ahead on refactoring parent indicator class generic enough that all it needs is a config object to draw new indicators. This should speed up implementing new ones, and make building user defined custom indicators much simpler.

Refactoring a code project is like renovating a house, sometimes you have to tear some things down to build back better. But along the way that can lead to some confusion. But you should have added ample commenting you say, and that maybe just the task for today, adding more.

To add further work to the todo list, I'm away in the country at the moment, and so working on my laptop, rather than my usual development computer. A bug in the sizing of the overlays has become apparent. It's been there for some time, as I've gone back and checked older repository commits. I'm ignoring it for now while I concentrate on the aforementioned refactoring. Sometimes it feels like whack-a-mole.

Anyway, it is good being out in the country, as I can take breaks that give me a great disconnect from the work and give me a refresher. Living in a city in an apartment, you simply can't step out into the garden for a breather. I'll be out here for a few days before I have to return, so I'll have to make the most of it.
