I was lucky when it came to co-workers in my previous spot, which was as a guard - I got along with everyone and they were very supportive of me. Only reason I quit my job was that the length of my shifts struck upon my mental and physical health.

Too much work is always a bad thing if there's never enough free time. Brain gets no rest of it continues too long. Good thing that you don't have to work there anymore but sad that you lost nice co-workers.
