RE: Crianlarich Railway Station

I been to Oban (not by train), and did the train ride from Fort William to Mallaig, going across the viaduct was really impressive. These little station here has its place in history it's so good that they kept in such nice condition

Good morning @livinguktaiwan :-)
I think everything is kept so pristine and clean as it all blends into the surroundings and so many tourists come up here just to take the amazing train journeys. It would look ridiculous if they levelled the buildings and planted a bus-stop type glass shelter there instead!
Did you ride a regular train on that trip or take the Jacobean which is hauled by steam engine and runs twice a day from March to September?

Here it is about to leave Fort William and luckily for me, this was the last trip of the season!

I did the normal train coz I wanted to see the Harry Potter Glenfinnan Viaduct, the driver slowed down as we approach it to let people take photos, it was very nice. Then in the afternoon I drove from Fort William to Mallaig again coz I was catching the ferry to Isle of Skye the next day😁
