“How can I live with this fear in me?” Ade was covered with the element of fear as he heard the sound of the bird. “It is something we have to bear as it has become a normal routine here, as I have heard from someone before coming to the woods," Tola added.
Ade and Tola were the kind of people who loved nature scenes. They want to try as much as they can to see new things. Tola suggested they take a bike to the woods just to observe some natural environments coupled with the view of birds, flowers, and some other animals.
“We need to leave before nightfall to get acquainted with the immediate environment," Tola, who was so excited, said. “Alright, I think you are extremely right," Ade added. They headed for the journey to the woods with their bicycles. As they were cycling, they were having a good and marvelous conversation. Within three hours of cycling, they finally got to the woods. They set up one tent with an opening just like a door. The tent looks exactly like a mini house. They also took a long mosquito net, which would keep mosquitoes from their reach.
“This place is a nice place, and far from how I viewed it from afar,” out of excitement, Ade said. “Yes, it's a place to take a deep view of the things of nature," Tola added. “Look over there," Ade said. “What's that?” Tola replied. “Look at the beautiful mountain ahead of us. We must get to that place before we leave," Ade, who was carried away, said. They were having a nice moment and taking some beautiful and brilliant pictures with the camera they brought along with them. “When do you think we should leave for home?” Tola asked. “I'm carried away by the natural scenery I'm seeing here. Anytime I'm tired of those things of nature, we shall take our leave home, but for now, I'm still having fun.” There was excitement on the face of Ade.
They only viewed things around without taking a walk deep into the woods. After a few hours before nightfall, Ade told Tola he was going to have a look at the mountain. “Let's go ahead together”, Tola said. They left while having true enjoyment. They got to the mountain foot and saw a cave. “This should be a cave,” Ade said. “I have seen this type of place before and have also heard of it from my parents," Tola replied. They entered the cave, taking some pictures of strange insects as well as some beautiful flowers. Deep inside the cave was fresh water coming out from the rock. Some minutes later, everything became dark, and they forgot to take along their Torchlight from their camping spot. “We must leave at once before we get swallowed by night inside the cave,” Tola said.“Nothing will happen; at least, the road to our base camp is clear even though we did not come along with our Torchlight,” Ade replied. Some minutes later, they heard a strange voice which kept the two quiet for a moment. Minutes later, the voice faded away. This voice was just like a crying baby. “How on earth will there be a baby inside this cave?” Tola asked.“It is impossible”, Ade added. “I think this should be a kind of bird with that nature of cry”, Ade added. “They continued with their tour with plenty of smiles on their faces. Finally, the night became darker and darker than expected.

“Ye!” Ade shouted.“What's the problem?” Tola asked. “I received a slap”, Ade replied. “I don't get it”, Tola replied.“I said something slapped me from behind”, Ade added.“Ye.” This time, the shout was so intense. “I think we need to leave this place for our tent”, Tola advised As they were going, they heard the shout from the same coming, just like a cry from a newly born baby.
This time, they doubled their running tactics, trying to find their oath to their tent. Just because of the darkness, they lost track of their way and instead went deep inside the cave. “This is not where we came from”, Ade said. “It seems we have run deep into the cave”, Tola replied. They began to find their way out, but the more they tried, the more they ate deep inside the cave.
That same sound came up again and this time, it was so close to them. “I think this bird is following us," Ade said. “Could it be the one that slapped you the other time?” Tola asked. “That's not true. At the beginning, I thought it was you who slapped me, but then you were not so close to me, Ade said.
The cry from the bird came up again and so close to them. As they moved, the bird followed. “I must move a little backward just to see that bird making such a sound,” Tola said.“How will you do that without Torchlight?” Ade asked. “Don't worry, I'm a hero”, Tola replied with all boldness. He took a step backwards from Ade, but heard the shout from behind Ade, as Ade shouted again "Ye! It has slapped me again”,,” he shouted.
“Let's just relax here until it's dawn before we head to our camp”, Tola advised. They stay on a rock without sleeping. I'm a normal day, Ade would have slept off, but was not ready to sleep just because of the nature of the cave.
As they were sitting on a rock, right beside them the bird perched behind them with hollow eyes. It was so ugly. Behind Ade, it made that scary noise. The two jumped up in fear. The bird flew away.
They stayed awake until dawn without taking an inch from that spot. When the day was over shadowing the darkness, they stood up at once and went straight to their tent. Immediately, they had to pack their items and head straight to their homes. “I can't stay here any longer. I think I'm getting more scared than usual, " Ade said.
“Even me as well. I'm the type who loves staying without fear, but this one was more than fear”, Ade replied as they packed their items and headed home.
Nature can be beautiful but sometimes overwhelming. Looks like this boys got more than what they bargained for, but luckily none of them got into any serious trouble.
Well constructed dear, keep up the good work
