Hello!
I met TheInkWell Community through a combination of luck and affinity. While wandering around Hive, I came across a very good article on how to efficiently structure stories (What Is a Story Arc?). This article led me to another and another. I found myself reading many publications related to the Community. I had been away from the platform for quite some time because my neighborhood ran out of Internet (but that's another story I'll tell elsewhere), so long, that I missed the dramatic fork in the road between Steemit and Hive. When I came back, I was very grateful to have met The Ink Well Community, because it gave me back the hope that there were people focused on a valuable and specific purpose (there is so much war going on around me), trying to grow with the writers, and that there was a place where it was possible to deal with the core things in my life, like writing.
I have participated in the magnificent contests that have opened here, and it has been a very valuable learning experience.
I don't have many resources, but I have tried to add what little I have to projects that seem generous to me and that leave valuable things for people: knowledge, motivation, good will... All that is in The Ink Well Community.
I am deeply moved that the project has the purpose and the will to contribute with the formation and remunerate the writers properly.
Of course I would like to participate more, and I'm trying to resume writing stories in English, and this will be the main place of my publications in this language.
At the beginning of my comment I said that I met this community by a lucky combination: chance and affinity. Chance was explained and, in part, affinity... But there is a part of that affinity that I would like to express before saying goodbye: in The Ink Well Community project there are people that I have met on the platform and that I have come to respect as managers, artists and writers. That, already, is invaluable.

I am very aware, when I mention the Community, that I am writing their name in capital letters, and I would like to share why: In my native language, proper names are written in capital letters. And I believe that 'The Ink Well Community' has forged a proper name. And I appreciate it... very much.

I'm glad you came back after your hiatus, @adncabrera! This is a wonderful place to find creative-minded people and be part of a global yet intimate community.

Thank you very much, dear @jayna. It is a joy to receive your words. Reading to you and seeing your pictures has been very pleasant during all this time. Also, I have learned a lot from your writing tips and the discipline that I took advantage of in that microfiction contest. You are amazing. A big hug.

Thank you. Hug accepted, @adncabrera. And here comes one your way! 😍

I think it's wonderful how we can make friends all over the world here. I never imagined it was possible to get to know people and build community just through blog posts and comment conversations. It really amazes me!
