This is an interesting story. I am very much older than you and yet can remember the pressure many young women had (those many years ago)to get married. Back then, the age was more like 25, or 26. There were phrases passed around such as "left on the shelf", "old maid". All these years later I can see how many of those marriages were not successful. So I read your story with that experience in mind.

You lay out the conflict well. It's interesting that you acknowledge in your story the pressure from Molly's family and friends to take this step. It's also interesting that you give Molly the power to propose. I like that a lot.

This is an especially interesting story for me because it reveals a lot about how young people view marriage today.
