It is impossible for this story to be curated in the Ink Well. I don't think you understand that we do not accept stories where blood and gore are featured. We do not accept stories where dogs, children or women are killed. We accept horror stories, but only those that are psychological in nature. No graphic violence. No blood. No tearing of bodies, animal or human.
This story started out well. It had a surreal quality that made me want to read more. Then the dog was swallowed. And blood was spread across the deck.
Please remove any gore, any blood, any graphic violence from your story. If you do not, we will mute it and we will mute any future stories that are violent in nature. I would like to support you, but your stories have to fit the community culture.
