Awakening to Nature's Symphony: A Camping Tale
My hair is long in this photo and it's so beautiful. 😁 I look like I'm in a shampoo commercial. I wonder if I should grow it out again.
July 20, 2021, my friends and I decided to go camping tour. We took our tents and decided to camp in a plain. This place was called Iztuzu Beach and there was a very beautiful plain right behind it. It's a few hours drive. The reason why it is a few hours is because it is a mountain road. Otherwise it is actually very close. In such situations I always think what beautiful landscapes I would see if I were a bird.
The day before I went to Iztuzu beach with my friends, we decided to camp. In the evening we found ourselves in a plain. A beautiful plain where not many people come. We were ready to spend a peaceful night thanks to the sounds of the animals and the relaxing nature of the forest. We lit our fire and had a nice chat throughout the night. There has never been a psychologist in the campsite that I could pour my heart out to as much as I could in a conversation by the fire...
I'm a city kid. I didn't grow up in the village much. I was even afraid of animals for a while. But as I started to understand nature and learn how it works, I can say that I got rid of this fear. At night, the animal sounds didn't scare me and I happily got into my sleeping bag with my friends and waited for the morning because we were going to Iztuzu beach.
When morning came, we woke up to a surprise.
Such a surprise that there was the sound of small bells. That's what woke us up from sleep. For a few seconds after waking up I even questioned whether I was still dreaming.
I was surprised when I woke up to the sounds of mules eating grass and the smell of fresh mint and unzipped my tent. There was a huge cow! It was looking at me with curious eyes and it was even as scared as I was! It took a few steps back but continued to watch and chew the grass in its mouth. It was a very different feeling to listen to the cows mooing and the calves talking amongst themselves as if in a symphony. We listened to them for about an hour. Maybe more!
That's when I thought how nice it is to wake up in nature. No city noises, no car horns, no shouting of vendors on the street. There were no sounds of fighting. There was the mooing of cows. There was the sound of the little bells on their necks. There was the sound of baby calves running around.
After that day, we decided to go camping more often. We go camping every 2-3 months now. This way we can relieve some of our stress. Nature has become much more than a static greenery for me. It has become a living and sustaining entity. Having its own needs, meeting the needs of others... It made me think that each piece of grass that emerged has an importance on a micro level as well as in the big picture.
Sometimes when I see places like this I can't help thinking why we can't live peacefully together with nature. It is really sad that we have to harm it. We think our gray buildings are aesthetic, but in fact the most aesthetic thing our instincts teach us is naturalness. It is a wonderful feeling when nature embraces us like a sincere smile. I didn't think these cows would affect me so much, because these animals were actually going about their standard daily routine. They also had a shepherd grazing them. Just waking up among them and suddenly finding myself in such a beautiful chaos was a different experience for me.
Then we continued to Iztuzu beach and the first picture you see in this post is from there. It's a really amazing place and there are even little ferries sailing around in it. Even though we didn't get a chance to ride them, the view from the top was breathtaking and the conversation with my friends there was priceless.

How do you just grow them out? Is it that easy😅. But you indeed look like you're in a shampoo commercial 😅.
Iztuzu is a really beautiful place, the water and the ambiance is just appealing. Glad you aren't scared of animals anymore.

I'd love to go on a proper camp sometime and wake up to such amazing views, but the thought of not sleeping in a comfortable bed is a bit off putting
To be honest I dont like sleeping, comfy bed is important yes but waking up in a refreshing air and sounds of the nature is far more better imo 😁😁 thank yoıu so much for the comment 🍪🤗🤗

What a place to be. Nature is friendly and deserves human love. There is peace and tranquility in a serene environment. It's obvious that you had a great camping.
I wish we would have lesson 101 protect the nature every year at every school forever... but...
thank you kindly for the comment 🤗🍦
It would go a long way to curb the menace. You are welcome.
Gosh. You guys had fun and I wished I was there. Also, the quality of those pictures makes it seem like in the movies. Haha
The nature is the longest movie that I can watch and never get bored ahahah that is called travel 🤪😁😁
Hehe... I love that nature 🤩🤩🤩
Natural environment can be soothing and peaceful like you observed. We should imitate nature's peaceful disposition if we want to make good progress in life. Thanks for sharing this experience.
Thank you so much for the comment 🤗🤗
How I wish I could experience something like this. The closest experience I have is when I go to our provinces. You wake up and grab a cup of warm drink. Once you go outside you feel the cool breeze and hear the sounds of chicken clucking, bugs buzzing, and the rustling of leaves dancing to the winds. Your story made me miss those times.
That is so good as well! I want that too 😅
These are times I'd probably remember the most. Spending time and opening your heart to your friends while surrounded by nature. Straight out +health per second to your heart.
Have a great week ahead.Sounds like a wonderful trip, its been my dream to wake up the the sounds of cows and lambs in a meadow. We don't have too many camping sites here. Sounds like you had loads of fun @arduilcelebren
That cow is too close to the tent for my comfort. Must smell great there?
