I think the worse had just happened in Gabriella’s household. Jacob, Gabriella’s husband has never gone a day without talking to his wife, making love to her or eating her food but all of a sudden, he stopped being that caring man whom his wife know him as.
Cheating was the only thing Gabriella could think of but after speaking with a radio host, he gave her a solution or the way forward.
“Cook your husband’s favorite meal. Let him eat well and when he’s done, you can ask him where things went wrong but do not ever accuse him of cheating,”immediately the host said that, Gabriella dashed to the market to buy some vegetables leaves to cook for her husband because that’s his favorite food.
“There’s actually no problem. I think my mother is the problem here but I do not know why you are faking things making it seem like you really love my mother and you’re cool with her coming around almost all the time,” just as the host had told Gabriella, she made sure he was done eating before asking him what happened but here is the response she got.
She has never for once faked her emotions so why does Jacob think she’s faking it? I think this is the most hurtful statement that Gabriella has ever heard from her husband.
“Faking it? What do you mean faking it? I call your mum almost everyday of my life and I am even happier whenever she’s around. I treat her well just like the one who birthed me but telling me that I’m faking it hurts me a lot and it’s so surprising,” Gabriella said in her shaky voice.
Even though Jacob never wants to see his wife cry, he didn’t mind seeing her cry this time all because of what she said to her friends about his mum.
When Gabriella noticed that things were getting out of hand, she called her mum and mother-in-law to come help them settle what’s happening in the house.
Apparently, Jacob had already told his mother the reason why he’s acting weird towards his wife but for the love that she has for Gabriella, she honored the invitation.
“Welcome ma. I begged him not to go to work so he can tell me where I have gone wrong and I will apologize,” Gabriella says to her mother-in-law while she hands over a glass of juice to her and also welcomes the arrival of her mum.
“On that day, my wife told me that she was going to Alex’s house to plan their friend’s wedding party. Luckily for me, she mistakenly called me and started saying how much she dislikes my mother,” Jacob immediately brought out his phone to play the recorded call for everyone who was present.
“My mother-in-law calls my husband too much and that can be so annoying. The worst part of it is how she mostly come unannounced and I’m always the one who ends up cooking for her and taking care of her other needs,” Gabriella’s mum was so shocked to hear this.
“Where did you learn this act from?,” she asked. Gabriella knew she wasn’t capable of doing what they said and she knew where the problem came from.
She ran fast into the room so Jacob doesn’t leave the house before she explains her part.
“Did you see this text? Hey babe, my phone was in my back pocket but mistakenly called you. I’ll give you a hot gist when I get home,” Jacob wasn’t even calm to read the text message but checked his phone for it and the messages corresponded.
Also, Gabriella played the same recording to the whole sit.
“That was the hot gist I wanted to give you. One of my friends, Meso never likes it when her mother-in-law comes around so I recorded it to come tell you at home but I didn’t even know that my butt mistakenly called you already,” she said as she breaks down into tears while explaining.
Angry Jacob felt sad for accusing his wife wrongly and he started to beg her.
“Forgive him, my daughter. He has made the mistake of not confronting you at first but let’s be grateful that things are now sorted,” he mum said and gave her a hug to mame Gabriella feel calm.
She forgave Jacob and they became the best couples again. At night, they made love and vowed not to ever keep things or malice with each other again.
“I’ll never keep malice with you, babe,” the two of them said as they went for the second round.
